I was told I would not be allowed to take a used vehicle offsite for a prepurchase inspection. There is only one reason I can think of that a dealership would not allow a prepurchase inspection, they don't offsite for a prepurchase inspection. There is only one reason I can think of that a dealership would not allow a prepurchase inspection, they don't want you to know what's wrong with the vehicle before you purchase it. Avoid at all cost unless you don't care you might be stuck with a bad purchase. More

I set an appointment to view a used Honda Element and drove 104 miles from Indiana to view it. When I was ready to test drive it the sales person told me there was a small exhaust leak that was an easy f drove 104 miles from Indiana to view it. When I was ready to test drive it the sales person told me there was a small exhaust leak that was an easy fix. My reply was. If it’s an easy fix why doesn’t the dealer fix it? Took the test drive and found other things that were of concern. Buyer beware. More
