Unable to schedule a service appointment for a software upgrade for over 2 weeks now. Multiple times told they would contact me but never have. Service phone calls were never answered and email and chat upgrade for over 2 weeks now. Multiple times told they would contact me but never have. Service phone calls were never answered and email and chat interactions appear to be auto generated. Sad, had 6 years of great service here and will need to upgrade our 2017 XC90 soon. Can't be another Volvo is there is no service in the area. More
We recently had our first 10,000 Mike check up on our new xc-60. The Setvice was very efficient and friendly. We took a loaner and had no problems checking in or out. The dealership texted a reminder of my service appointment. The agent at the front desk was ready when I arrived, I was given an explanation of the work needed and an estimate of how long it wou appointment. This was our second experience with Selena at McGovern Volvo. Once again, both she and the dealer outdid themselves. We were offered multiple options and ultimately the deal they presented us was outstand Volvo. Once again, both she and the dealer outdid themselves. My experience has usually been positive, staff friendly & helpful, until my last visit. Everyone was pleasant & helpful when I dropped off my car for the yearly inspection. I received a call a little later that day from Tyler telling me my car did not pass inspection & needed new tierods & suspension. My 2010 xc60 has less that 50,000 miles. Upon our return (my adult granddaughter who brought & stayed with me) the service department seemed to be in confusion. We waited 20 minutes before I was given a paid receipt due to a free coupon, which I appreciated. Upon examining the receipt there was no mention of the repair needs or the fact that the car did not pass inspection. We waited but my car wasn’t brought to us. We waited again to talk to someone. He said someone printed my receipt incorrectly & it would be corrected & my car brought around to the front of the building Again we waited. A female employee in the showroom asked very abruptly what we needed. We explained what had happened & she quickly escorted us back to the service department telling us we shouldn’t be in the showroom. We had been waiting in the showroom for my car & the corrected receipt.We were unable to find the person who was supposed to be getting the receipt & making arrangement for my car to be brought around to me.Finally my car was brought to the front of the showroom. The same sticker was in the window as before, no corrected receipt with info regarding the stated repairs needed was in the car. My car was filthy. I couldn’t see out of the front or rear windows. Nothing had been done! I’ve always appreciated the services at McGovern Volvo until now. My next car will not be a Volvo! More
