I went to McGovern Hyundai today to look at and possibly purchase a new 2021 Hyundai Sonata N Line. Colson Pierre met me at the door and showed me the N Line they had on the lot unfortunately that one had a purchase a new 2021 Hyundai Sonata N Line. Colson Pierre met me at the door and showed me the N Line they had on the lot unfortunately that one had already sold. He then told me he could get another one by the weekend. He presented me with the terms for the deal, which were better than any dealership I had visited so far. We negotiated a deal and signed paperwork to get the car there. Overall I had a great experience at McGovern Hyundai today. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a new car. More

Go elsewhere if you’re looking for responsiveness and straightforward communication. My initial experience at McGovern was fine. I came in to drive a Palisade and the staff was helpful. My sales rep was straightforward communication. My initial experience at McGovern was fine. I came in to drive a Palisade and the staff was helpful. My sales rep was friendly and polite. They didn't have a Palisade in stock (understandably, demand is high) but said they should have one in a week or two. We negotiated a price and a trade value for my current vehicle; it took a lot of haggling. It went steeply downhill from here. Over a period of TWO MONTHS, my sales rep reached out to me only twice. I called him many times in search of updates, news, anything, but he never answered the phone and his voice mailbox was always full so I couldn't leave a message. I had to wait and hope he'd call me back. Every time it was the same thing: 'oh, nothing yet, but we're getting a new allocation in a few days so I'll let you know' and once 'I think I have a Palisade for you!' but there was never any follow-up after these allocation arrivals, and no Palisade, ever. Eventually I gave up. I went to another Hyundai dealer and had the exact car I wanted in 2 days (including the time it took them to swap with another dealer). Don't waste your time at McGovern. Check dealer ratings and go somewhere else. (Incidentally, the second dealer's guess was that McGovern was able to sell the Palisades they were getting at a higher price to other buyers, so they did. If that is the case (maybe it is, maybe it isn't), McGovern shouldn't have agreed to a price they wouldn't honor, and they should have communicated that instead of stringing me along for 2 months.) Bottom line: awful customer service and NOT a trustworthy dealer. More
I received superb service at my latest visit at Hyundai McGovern. I was shopping around for my first car with help from Clyde. We was able to find something that was both affordable and reliable. My wife brought a brand new car less than 2 weeks ago and it was brought in for service twice. The first time they told her nothing was wrong like she didn’t know what she was talking about. This time I drov it was brought in for service twice. The first time they told her nothing was wrong like she didn’t know what she was talking about. This time I drove it and the same thing happened. $140 in towing and Uber costs later and we have no car. Their service stinks. If they even tried to offer something to ease the stress I wouldn’t be here. Nothing. Now my wife will be missing work in the morning to take care of this. Avoid this dealer like the plague. And if McGovern runs all their businesses like this avoid all of them. More
I purchased a vehicle in December 2019, and since i was out of state, I was asked to have the state inspection done in my state and send the receipt for reimbursement. For the first few years, our experience was great, but recently things had taken a turn for the worse in the service department. After a string of visits to deal with a specific service issue, a new issue started that we were told was just a coincidence, and after 2.5 hours waiting for a diagnosis, after we were told they are extremely busy due to the closing of another dealership in the area and the absorption of a number of new customers, we were not happy with the recommendation provided. We were then asked if instead, we'd be interested in purchasing a new vehicle. This wasn't something we were immediately considering, so they said they'd take pictures of our car and call us with an estimate for a trade in. Well we still haven't heard back from them, and so we are moving on. More
When you buy a car make sure you get all you paid for! I stop went back in and called James Lewis the guy who sold me the van, he said they may forgot to reinstall the spare after whatever they had done to the van. He assured me i would have on shipped to me in a week, but nothing got couple calls asking for my address i told him is the same on file! Then one more asking for the vin sticker at the door, at this point im sorry they were asking for information they had. To date 07/19/18 i hove no spare in case i get a flat in a highway and be a in bad situation or something they will hear from my lawyer. Thank you McGovern manager and James lewis, for your word and service. More
