Everyone at Bernardi were more than helpful. They guided me through what was for me a stressful situation as a woman buying a car on her own. They were honest and fair during the whole transaction. My experience started out bad. My sister and I were left in the dealership one evening after trying to purchase a car. We made our presence known at the desk. It took a few awhile before we were called into in the dealership one evening after trying to purchase a car. We made our presence known at the desk. It took a few awhile before we were called into the office and were told that we had been approved but the payments were so high we knew it was not affordable. We thought we had a deal that was within our price range and were really disappointed and the evening shift was not friendly at all. We told them we would not be able to do this and wanted our trade in back. We were told it would be ready in a few minutes. We waited over an hour and nobody was cluing us in as to what happened. My sister finally asked where our vehicle was and it was then told to us that they could not find the keys. We waited some more and nobody checked on us, offered coffee or anything else. When we finally got our trade in back our inspection sticker had already been removed. We were told to bring it back the next day and one would be put on. This ment another trip. After this happened my sister wrote the dealship and told them about the experience. It was then that Miguel Garcia and Chris Corriveau took over and worked with us to make our dream of owning a newer car come true. I cannot say enough about Chris and Miguel. They are a true asset to your dealership and totally changed my opinion about Bernardi Hyundai of Brockton. If it were not for the both of them working hard for us we probably would have went elsewhere to purchase a car and would never have recommended this dealership. Thanks for turning this around for us and making this a much better experience. More
I apologize for being late with this review. My husband had been after me that it was it was time for me to start looking for a car. First, let me tell you that I owned a 2003 Hyundai Elantra with 268,00 had been after me that it was it was time for me to start looking for a car. First, let me tell you that I owned a 2003 Hyundai Elantra with 268,000 miles on it. It was time to replace her, she was a great car, narry a problem, ever except the usual maintenance. Due to past experiences with another dealer I was reluctant to do so as I do not like dealing with car salesmen. We had heard good things about Bernardi of Brockton my daughter had gotten a car from them back in February and was very pleased. So off I went kicking and dragging to Bernardi with a promise from my husband that we would just look to see what was out there. We arrived at Bernardi were we were met by Tony Emmi. I must say that I have to be honest with you, I told Tony that I would rather " clean toilets "then deal with a car salesman. Poor Tony didn't know what to say after that comment but he was patient, helpful , knowledgable and worked with me until I was happy and in a vehicle that I could afford At first I thought I wanted a new car (SUV) but the price was way out of my range. I knew that I wanted to stay with Hyundai because of my past experience with my Elantra. Tony worked with me and found me a 2011 Santa Fe in my price range which I can afford. I have had my car now for about a week now I love it and can't thank Tony enough for working with me to find a great vehicle. The Bernardi staff are also very helpful. I highly recommend buying a vehicle from Bernardi and especially Toni. To top it all off when we left the showroom Tony was still smiling and pleasant so I guess I didn't drive him to crazy. Nothing but lies. I went into the dealership to look at a new Hyundai and see what the price would be. It was all lies. Miguel first started off by saying he would sell for $500 over invoice, making it l a new Hyundai and see what the price would be. It was all lies. Miguel first started off by saying he would sell for $500 over invoice, making it look like they were only making $500 profit. after sitting for two hours, I talked them done well over $3000. It was like pulling teeth. Clearly they are still making money at the $3000 under invoice price, so the $500 over was nothing but a lie. do not fall for it. the invoice price is a scam, it is not the same as the true dealer price which is several thousand dollars lower. Miguel was very high pressure and insisted on a reason for every dollar I tried to negotiate. I didnt feel I owed him an explanation, its the price I wanted to pay. finally after feeling I got to a reasonable price I left a $250 fully refundable deposit (I edited the contract to say fully refundable before signing - and you can and should too - its fully within your power). After this, I went to Clay Hyundai to price match, they immediately went to a lower price - no haggle, no high pressure, no sales tactics, just a good honest sale - you should definitely go to Clay and leave Bernardi in the dust. after going to Clay and getting a better price without the lies, the high pressure and other scamming techniques that Bernardi is good at, I went to bernardi to get my refund, they made it extremely difficult for me to walk away and get my refund, they didnt get that the reason I didnt want to do business with them is because of their dishonesty. Go to Clay - I had to fight and argue for another hour to get my refund back from Bernardi - you dont need this, it took them all of 3 minutes to take the deposit, but over an hour to refund as they tried more scamming techniques to get me to stay and to avoid refunding the money. Dont buy into their scams, they are very good at persuading you into believeing their lies. Worse than any dealership I have ever been to. More
My experience with purchasing my third Santa Fe was the best. I have been to other Hyundai dealers and from driving into the parking lot it was a total pleasure this time around. I love my new vehichle and the 2013 Sport Turbo is awesome. If you are considering a Hyundai, then you must visit this dealership! More
Purchased a 2010 VW CC that was traded in. Both the salesman and manager were upfront and easy to work with. Had been looking for a used SUV for about a month. Went to a couple other dealerships and had no luck. Went to Bernardi to see what they had. Was looking at a Santa Fe and greeted by Tony Emmi in the lot to a couple other dealerships and had no luck. Went to Bernardi to see what they had. Was looking at a Santa Fe and greeted by Tony Emmi in the lot. He was very courteous and knowledgeable. Told me all he knew about the car and other options in my price range in the lot. The 09 Santa Fe was what I was looking for in a car and at a tremendous price. Worked out the deal with Miguel and Tony and am very happy. Tony is a man of his word and he made good on a couple of promises. Thank you for a great experience. Will be sure to tell others and definitely be a return customer. Beautiful looking dealership and spotless. Also had some interaction with the service team and found them to be very knowledgeable and helpful. More
