Brian smith was a pleasure to work with. Very accomodating, no pressure. The dealership had a large inventory to choose from. The dealership is very clean and orderly. I recently purchased a 2011 Sonata at Rte 2 Hyundai. I was so pleased with my overall experience at this dealership. I was particularly impressed with my salesperson, Mark Casavant. Mark was very easy was so pleased with my overall experience at this dealership. I was particularly impressed with my salesperson, Mark Casavant. Mark was very easy to work with and we negotiated a very good deal on this vehicle. Prior to my visit I had looked at Ford, Mercury, and another Hyundai dealership. I was not impressed with their offer on my trade and persistent and annoying sales tactics. So I ventured up to Leominster; and I’m glad I did. More
This dealership was tremendous. From the young, handsome sales manager, down to the furry, friendly finance manager. It was A+++. There were balloons all over the place. My husband and I would definately refer route 2 Hundai dealership to our friends. All of your staff were very professional, polite and friendly. Justin McElroy, was our sales associate, even though he has dealership to our friends. All of your staff were very professional, polite and friendly. Justin McElroy, was our sales associate, even though he has only been there for 3 months, he represented your company in a very positive manner. I got a flyer in the mail from rte 2 Hyundai and decided to go to the dealer and look at the 2010 accent on sale. I got there and talked to Brian Smith, who was very nice and knowledgable. They had no 201 to go to the dealer and look at the 2010 accent on sale. I got there and talked to Brian Smith, who was very nice and knowledgable. They had no 2010 on the lot(bait and switch ???) so I decided to look at the 2011's and told Brian that I would think about it. I got a call from Brian on Saturday saying if I came in on Saturday I could buy the car for $8500(a good price) I told him I was busy that weekend and would go sometime during the week but he was insistent that I go that day so after some tought I told him for $8455 I would go to Leominster since 45$ would pay for my gas, Brian said yes. I went to the dealership and filled out the paperwork and after about a half hour I'm brought into another room talk to another man who starts to explain the warranty and such when I notice that the price on the computer was $8500 so I said it was wrong and Brian went to the sales manager to tell him about the price mistake. I hear the sales manager yell out It's 8500 take or leave it. That's when I went to the showroom to see what was going on. Brian told me about the price difference, that's when the sales manager starts mumbling something about a half hour wasted( I fell my time was wasted since they're the ones who had to have me show up on Saturday) and started saying to me in the middle of the showroom floor "WE DON'T WANT YOUR BUSINESS, WE DON'T WANT YOUR BUSINESS, WE DON'T WANT YOUR BUSINESS." Making me very uncomfortable. To be treated like this over 45$ is ridiculous. My recommendation is to have the price in writing before starting the buying process so the salesman and the sales manager can be on the same page. More

I went into to have the thermostat replaced. I was told that it was covered under my extended warranty that I bought. I went to pick up the car and the bill was $81. I asked the Service Manager what this w that it was covered under my extended warranty that I bought. I went to pick up the car and the bill was $81. I asked the Service Manager what this was for and he told me he didn't know. I asked him 3 times and he couldn't explain the charge. He finally said "I don't know" for the 4th time and turned around and walked away from me!! He was the one that I had originally talked to about this. He told me what a great warranty I had got and that there would be no charge. At no point did anyone call me and tell me they were replacing other parts. I DID NOT ask for other service other than my thermostat. I used to work in a car dealership and I know how these departments work. Another thing that bothers me about this dealership is that after you have service done, they have sheet of paper on your bill telling you if you rate them as excellent, you'll get a free oil change. I think that is wrong. I will never trust them again. Unfortunately, they are the closest dealership for service. More
Dealer failed twice to get the desired car through dealer swaps - the price of the car was $500 below the closest low bid. On the second attempt to get the desired car the dealer told us that the manufactur swaps - the price of the car was $500 below the closest low bid. On the second attempt to get the desired car the dealer told us that the manufacturer's finance offer for 3.9% was approved and we could pick up the car in 2 days. On the evening before we were to take delivery on the car the sales person informed us via email that they could not get the car. We responded that we were very disappointed and wanted to know what the dealer was going to do to make things right. The sales person replied that he would get back to us - he never did. We purchased a car at another dealer. When the new dealer submitted our request for finance to the manufacturer it was revealed that the the Route 2 dealer had NOT even filed our application for finance with the manufacturer. They low ball, bait and switch, and try to up-sell. More
I had a 2005 Elantra that I never had problems with that I purchased here. So, when I needed another car with 4 wheel drive for my new job, I went here first. The salesman told me that he would not talk num I purchased here. So, when I needed another car with 4 wheel drive for my new job, I went here first. The salesman told me that he would not talk numbers unless I was seriously going to buy it. I should have left then. I then signed papers and waited for over 3 hours without anyone coming over and telling me what we were waiting for. I finally left and said I would be back the following day to get the used Tucson. When returning the next day, I was handed keys and sent on my way. No one took the time to show me how anything in the car worked! I drove this car for a few months when it began to make a squealing noise when I backed up. I brought it to their service department and paid $300 for new brakes and rotors. The noise returned again within 2 weeks. So, I brought it back and was told that something completely different was wrong. This continued for months and I was back there every other week, where they always told me something else was wrong and that I should not worry because it is not a safety concern. How can they say this when they can't figure out what it is? My final straw was when I brought it to another mechanic who looked at it and said there was rust build up that was just going to keep coming back and that there was no way RT 2 did not know this. I finally went to another dealership and got rid of the Tucson. I am very glad that I do not ever have to go back there! I just regret that I let this go on for so long. More
