my 2000 nissan frontier Please be advised that I was highly disappointed in the experts. My 2000 Nissan Frontier broke down on me and my mechanic said that it was the cat con Please be advised that I was highly disappointed in the experts. My 2000 Nissan Frontier broke down on me and my mechanic said that it was the cat converters, once he put them on the truck still didn't run right. He then hooked the computer gadget up to it and said it was the knock sensor. So at that time I didn't have faith in him so I decided to get it towed to the Nissan experts. Once the experts got it, they said it was the distributor and it cost me $795. So now I'm thinking to myself that my mechanic didn't know what the xxxx he was doing. I then picked up my car from the experts and drove it 4 miles and the check engine light came on, so I took it straight back to the so called experts and they kept it another day. Once you contacted me now you charge me another $135 diagnostic test and tell me its the knock sensor that will cost $1500 and a co2 ground wire that cost $700. The total cost will be $3130. I might as well buy a used engine. My take is there is no way in xxxx that with all the technology today, that you did know that from the beginning. If you have been straight up from the beginning I probably would have got you guys to put a used engine in. Now you did give me a quote for $5500, but I found a better deal. So I want to thank you for the opportunity to hear me vent, I know you guys on commission and got to make you money, but as a new store trying to establish yourself, you got to be straight up with your customers from the start. thanks for your time.
