Yesterday while we are waiting for the repai A year ago I purchased my Mazda 6 from your dealership for $11,000 ($12000) out of pocket. I paid cash. Yesterday while we are waiting for the repairs of my car we decided to test drive a New Mazda 6 that was being sold for a good price. It had 3k miles. When my car was appraised as a trade-in I was told that it had hail damage. That is not true. When the service department looked at it they spotted a small dent in the roof over the driver's side door. It was an impression that I must have made when I must have stood on the roof while servicing the garage door light. I popped it out and now the dent is gone. The excuse to make my car appear low in trade-in value was obvious. Your sales person should know the difference between hail damage and an impression dent that pops out. To offer me me $5000 trade in when they new full well that the car did not have hail damage and that it would represent a loss of $7000 in my investment after only one year was typical of what the public perceives in typical car salesmen. Trade in is $6381. Fair purchase price is $10,503. Private party is $8008. Considering the art of bartering the $5000 offer was unfair and you lost my trust as a fair and honest car dealer. You service department was excellent. More
