I Adam and the whole team all the way thru service has made this G70 transaction one of the easiest and most pleasurable purchases I've experienced. I left Arapahoe Hyundai because of the lack of effort to keep a 3 time purchaser happy and found McDonald Hyundai and Adam to make me feel like a long time loyal customer which I will be for future purchases and service. Great buying experience during lockdown I had a great experience buying a new 2020 Veloster R-Spec here in late March 2020 during COVID-19 pandemic. The staff was extremely accommodating. I had a great experience buying a new 2020 Veloster R-Spec here in late March 2020 during COVID-19 pandemic. The staff was extremely accommodating. From start to finish I never stepped foot inside the dealership. The details of the sale and financing were all done over the phone. They drove the contract out to my house (wearing gloves and mask) for me to sign. They gave me the option of delivering the car to my house or picking it up at the dealership (I chose pick up so I could drive it home). Not only were they very conscious and respectful of concerns over the on-going pandemic but the general car buying experience was as painless as I've ever experienced. The sales person, sales manager, and finance manager were all very pleasant and easy to work with (very refreshing given some of my previous car purchases). More

I don't own a Hyundai, but Madisyn came right out and welcomed me and said they would help. She grabbed Tyler from the service department and they changed my tire to my spare and got me and ,my son on our way. Their kindness and willingness to help was so refreshing. It was a fantastic lesson for my son to see our community step up to help each other. Thank You Madisyn and Tyler - you made a difference! More

Doe Snyder in particular was a wonderful person to deal with when purchasing a vehicle. She was warm, friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and went out of her way to be sure we were happy, and satisfied with our purchase. She has made herself available to us if we have any questions about the vehicle as well. Don't hesitate to go to this dealership if you're looking for a Hyundai and want to be treated with respect and courtesy as you shop!! More

I knew what vehicle I wanted and what price I was willing and able to pay. After many unfulfilling attempts to come to purchasing terms with the 2 Hyundai Dealerships in Colorado Springs, a friend suggested I contact Ms. Suzanne Dumont at the McDonald's Hyundai dealership. Ms Dumont and Dave Young, through a few e-mails and phone calls, we easily agreed on an out the door price. Almost all required paperwork was signed and processed in advance via e-mail so when I arrived, it was just a matter of a few details and I was out the door in a new 2020 Hyundai Elantra SE! Fully expect to see her again this summer to purchase my next Hyundai! //Craig White, Colorado Springs// More
Very friendly - until the deal went south I met Suzanne as planned, test drove a Hyundai Kona and liked it well enough to start looking at numbers. I am very detail oriented and asked a lot of questions, specifically about rebates, incentives, trade-ins, etc. Suzanne told me she had to keep doing the 'walk of shame' to the manager's office to negotiate my deal. Isn't that what car sales is about? I was ready to do a deal when I got an email from Arapahoe Hyundai with better pricing. I asked if they could meet the deal they were offering and they said no, as there was 'no way' they could sell a car at that price', claiming they'd change the deal once I was on their lot. Long story/short, I told them I was going to drive over to Arapahoe Hyundai and find out for myself. At this point, Suzanne got very short and rude, I explained to her that I want the best possible deal and if meant I had to go to another dealership, then I'll do that. Surely you can understand that? She said she grew tired of going back to her manager for $250 here, $500 there and I should've given her my pricing from TrueCar upfront. I did a TrueCar inquiry with McDonald Hyundai, but that salesperson responded to me after I was already at the dealership, so Suzanne was working the deal when I did an inquiry earlier in the week. It didn't occur to me that she wasn't aware of the TrueCar request. I was trying to make the best deal possible...for me. In the end, not only was the deal at Arapahoe Hyundai almost $900 cheaper for the same car, they added in all weather mats and locking lug-nuts, they also offered an additional post-sale rebate that McDonald Hyundai never mentioned. So, grand total for the exact same car was ~$1400 less + the extras I got. My biggest problem with Suzanne was how short, rude and dismissive she became, belittling me for trying to save "$250 here, $500 there". Well, it all adds up and trying to make someone feel 'less than' because they want to save some money and found a better deal is bad business. I'm sure not all deals go through and sales people feel they wasted time on something when it doesn't work out, but that's part of the business and treating people this way guarantees they won't ever return. I gave her 2 stars, verses one, because up until the point where the deal went bad - she was knowledgeable and friendly, but wow - she got nasty fast. If looks could kill, I'd be a dead man right now. With her as one of their leading salespeople, I'm crossing McDonald Hyundai off my list of places I'd shop in the future. I gave the dealership 3 stars (Average) because I really didn't deal with anyone else except the sales manager when I was leaving, who told me Arapahoe Hyundai gave me that price only to get me on their lot and would claim it was a mistake. I'm sure he was trying to keep me there, but it just lends itself to the reputation of misleading car dealers. More
