I purchased a car through this dealer as an out of state buyer. We were admittedly very anxious every step of the way, and the staff dealt with our concerns as best they could. We did experience some challenges, however, and I think the dealer could improve in a few ways. Our sales agent apparently resigned while were completing the sale, unbeknownst to us. We continued to text our sales agent, with no responses, for a full day before we found it he was no longer with the company. And we had to find out by calling to complain that we hadn't received a response. Getting a hold of the finance department can be extremely challenging. Every time you call, you have to go through a receptionist. This can add a lot of time on to the process. All paperwork had to be hard copies that were mailed. Nothing was digital. You cannot text the finance department, only phone calls, resulting in a lot of lost time playing phone tag and waiting for the receptionist to try to locate the person you need to speak to. We had to arrange our own shipping, even though "Home Delivery" is offered on many websites on which this dealer posts. No options were offered to help me relocate the purchase to my state. The vehicle I purchased was a Certified Pre Owned car. I expected a certain level of cleanliness when the car was delivered. However, I had to extensively clean a significant amount of dog hair out of the car. I also found a human brush being used as a dog brush, as well as a pack of matches from a local CO dispensary advertising "Weed Loves You", all in the center console. Did someone not check this car before it was shipped? Didn't make us feel so great about the purchase knowing someone probably used it before us to hit their local dispensary. What else did they use the car for before delivering it to us? Also, the mileage was 4,000 miles higher than what was listed on the website. This was a concern we had to overlook, as we discovered this fact late in the purchasing process. I would have preferred a discount for the additional mileage that wasn't advertised on the car. Why wasn't the actual mileage posted on the car listing online? I understand some minor discrepancies in reporting correct mileage, but this is 4,000 miles! Also, this dealer states that they do not add additional markups, but they add all the additional add ons that any dealer would. I found their prices for these add ons less expensive than other dealers, but all the additional services offered are unnecessary, overpriced, and adds additional time for the finance department to get through in the finance meeting. I asked to waive all additions, but somehow still couldn't get them to remove the $299 Courtesy Guard. Do your research on the additions they add. Anything taxable is negotiable. Don't pay for unnecessary add ons like Nitrogen Fill tires, pin-striping, after market alarms, paint protections, etc. You can often find out what these are with a little research and discover for yourself that these are simply ways for a dealer to make a profit of your sale. Avoid at all costs and be willing to walk if the dealer struggles to understand why you don't want to pay for these costly and pointless additions. If the dealers were honest, we wouldn't have to write and read all of these reviews. Overall, I found this dealer needs improvement in a few areas. Communications needs to improve, as well as properly delivering the vehicle in a clean condition, with all personal items removed, especially brushes with hair! As with all car dealers, you really have to watch them every step of the way to make sure you're not getting ripped off. I'd prefer to never have to deal with another car dealer again after the six month nightmare rollercoaster of lies and disinformation that we have experienced trying to get an honest deal, but I believe this dealer is better at in person sales than online sales. I would not purchase another vehicle from this dealer remotely, but I may consider them if I lived in the Denver area. More

We recently purchased a 2023 Palisade Calligraphy at McDonald Hyundai. Our salesman was David Kuczek, who was incredibly helpful and kept us up-to-date with the ever moving delivery dates. I called around several dealers to get the best price on our new car and every dealer I spoke to was adding $5000 over MSRP just because they could as a result of the supply and demand. McDonald Hyundai did not do this as they felt it was unfair to their customers. I would highly recommend David at McDonald Hyundai and will definitely do business with him in the future. More

Scott told me it would take 3-5 days. I call on morning of Dec 30, because I haven’t heard from them and was told it hadn’t even been looked at yet. I needed my car by Saturday to go to work, so I told them do the oil and tires forget the heated seat and would be there to pick it up at 5pm, doesn’t take long to change oil and tires. Got my car back on Saturday at 1:00 on. Absolutely horrible communication and customer service. Will not be doing business with them! More

About one month before I purchased this vehicle, I tried to purchase a very similar vehicle at Phil Long Hyundai Motor City in Colorado Springs. This dealership added a pure profit market adjustment to the vehicle totaling over $6,000. I tried to negotiate with this dealership, but they would not budge on the market adjustment. So I did my research and found that McDonald Hyundai was more interested in satisfied customers and repeat customers rather than taking advantage of its customers by adding a market adjustment. I will be purchasing my next new automobile from McDonald Hyundai! More
