Great Experience Recently leased a 2015 Genesis. Coming from BMW, McDonald was the closest Hyundai dealership to that of premium brands. They have a spacious and moder Recently leased a 2015 Genesis. Coming from BMW, McDonald was the closest Hyundai dealership to that of premium brands. They have a spacious and modern showroom with a ton of space. Brad Long, my sales associate, was not pushy and very responsive and Ron Fifer went above and beyond to offer the best price. Plus they had a fair appraisal of my BMW trade-in since McDonald Group carries a few premium brands, which help them move premium cars. Overall a great car buying experience, I would highly recommend McDonald Hyundai. More

He asked every question I had, was super nice, efficient in finding me an answer to question he didn't know and NOT pushy just to try and make a sale! I told him my price range and target car payment and did not steer me away from that! He was super accommodating and made my experience the best EVER at a car dealership!! On top of that the manager was awesome when it came to chatting about my trade! They were honest and truly were there for my best interest!! Yes, they still need to make money and I feel they did that with having a customer leave happy!! By far the BEST DEALERSHIP to buy a car! Family owned and you can tell! More
Ask for Dave Cunningham-You wont buy a car anywhere else My wife and I were driving lot to lot looking for a car (Not looking to buy) when we drove into the lot of McDonald Hyundai. We were fortunate enough My wife and I were driving lot to lot looking for a car (Not looking to buy) when we drove into the lot of McDonald Hyundai. We were fortunate enough to be greeted by Dave who was anything but a car salesman. He was very informative, helpful and most importantly very friendly and not in the salesman kid of way. Too make a long story short he took us for a test drive, we had some laughs and we wound up driving off the lot with a new car that night. I will refer Dave to anyone and everyone I know buying a car and I would recommend that if you are reading these reviews to go and say hello to Dave. xxxx if you ask him nicely he might surprise you with a Subway sandwich. (Sorry Dave.. LOL!!) Best car buying experience ever and I felt like I gained a friend in the process. Cheers to you Mr. Cunningham!! More
David Cunningham went out of his way to earn my business! Over the last several weeks, I have been doing my homework on potential new cars and what made the most sense for me and my budget. On Saturday, March 7th I had an appointment to have my car appraised at Carmax (just to get a idea of what a trade in might look like). While driving to my appointment I realized Carmax was on a 'car row' of sorts with just about every type of car within a few mile radius. I decided to make the most of my day and pop into the Ford dealership as well as the Hyundai dealership (I had also previously test driven a 2015 Chevy Equinox). When I pulled into McDonald Hyundai I was pleasantly surprised that I wasn't instantly pounced on by an overzealous sales person. Instead, I was able to stroll over to a car and take a minute or so to explore it before a gentleman casually approached to see if I needed assistance. Enter David Cunningham, easily the BEST sales person I have ever dealt with during the car buying experience. Throughout our nearly two hours together that day, David was patient, full of knowledge, honest, and respectful...not to mention, he has a great sense of humor! After our fantastic test drive, David spent time just sitting in the car with me going over all of its various features, explaining what buttons did what, etc. It was because of this time together that I could truly see myself owning this vehicle. I left that day, without a vehicle, to go drive a Ford up the road. I promised David I would keep in touch and give him the opportunity to earn my business. After thoroughly considering the three cars that I had test driven (the 2015 Chevy Equinox, the 2014 Ford Edge, and the 2015 Santa Fe Sport), I knew the Santa Fe was the car I wanted to own. In previous days I had been referred to a company called AutoNation Direct for new car purchases. I had a great contact there who eventually made me a fantastic offer on a new Santa Fe (not the exact car I had driven with David, but pretty darn close). With that offer in hand (and as promised) I reached out to David to give him the opportunity to beat his price....never imagining it could happen. (During this time, I should also mention that David had reached out, casually and never to put pressure on me, to see if there were any questions he could answer. Follow-up I really appreciated...and what ultimately lead me to want to purchase a car from him.) An hour later (and on his day off, I might mention), David called with an offer that I simply could not refuse. Not only could he beat the first offer, he was also able to secure me a lower APR on my loan. It was clear at that very moment that David had gone to bat for me and was fighting for my business....and he had earned it! Yesterday (3-10-15), on his day off, David met me at the dealership to complete my purchase. He made the process easy and enjoyable, keeping me entertained and educated throughout. After the paperwork was signed, he sat with me in my new car at 9:30pm giving me a quick refresher on where the major stuff was. He was also kind enough to schedule my first oil change (compliments of him and the dealership) and set me up with an incredible price to have my front windows tinted. I pulled off the lot last night with a huge smile on my face. I was thrilled with my new car, felt really good about the purchase I had just made, and felt even better about the relationship I had just built with David. He literally will be my 'go to car guy' from now on....his service is incredible! I must also compliment the other staff at McDonald Hyundai - everyone from the guy who detailed my car for me, to the business manager (Ricardo Renteria) who was so patient in explaining all of my options, to the finance guy (Ron Fifer) who also went to bat to make this sale happen. Top notch people....at a top notch dealership! I look forward to a long relationship with both David and McDonald Hyundai and hope to refer many friends their way! - Cindy P. More
Best experience at a car dealer ever I had the privilege of working with Sales Consultant Suzanne Dumont on Sat. March 6th 2015 at McDonald Hyundai in Littleton CO. I was very impressed w I had the privilege of working with Sales Consultant Suzanne Dumont on Sat. March 6th 2015 at McDonald Hyundai in Littleton CO. I was very impressed with her familiarity of all the vehicles there on the lot. I was being particular with the exterior colors they had available, no leather seats and absolutely no beige interior. Looking around on the lot, speaking to different people, I seen a copper exterior which I really liked but the interior was beige that was out. They have vehicles with Gray and Black interior but they were Gray, Silver or White exterior (not a fan). Then I was shown the vehicle I ended up purchasing. I would like to thank Suzanne for her patience and making the experience a very pleasant one. I would also like to thank Ryan Smith used car Sales Manager who was a great help in getting me a lower interest rate and the value of my trade-in. Ron Fifer Sales Manager, Ricardo Rentera Finance Manager, who I accidently mistook for a Sales Consultant he too was running around looking for cars for me (sorry Ricardo). Virgil Esquivel Service Manager, Rick Wilson, Douglas Troudt both are Service Advisors, when I took my previous vehicle in for service they are always a great help. But I cannot end this review without mentioning Jon Bittrolf General Manager. Jon has been around since the old location down the street, very friendly always a pleasure to speak with and not just about cars and sales just a super nice individual. This latest experience was Fantastic and I look forward to having my new car serviced in the future. Oops I almost forgot I purchased the 2015 Hyundai Tucson GLS All Wheel Drive the color is Kona Bronze (sort of a coffee color) with what they refer to as Pleather seats a combination of plastic, leather and cloth not so stiff, interior is BEIGE but in my defense not quite the light color you would expect. It has a little darker look. It works out very well with the rest of the interior color kind of a chocolate look. The entire vehicle comes together very nicely and I am extremely happy with the purchase. Thank you Raul Temeyosa More
Second chance This was my first buying experience since I messed up my credit when I was younger. I was worried I wouldn't qualify for anything. I was also concerned that once a dealership saw what I was working with, they wouldn't give me the time of day. I worked with Dave over the span of two days. We test drove and looked at several cars. He was very personable and easy to relate with. There wasn't any awkwardness when driving alone with a stranger could be. After deciding on the vehicle I wanted, we ran numbers. I wanted some time to think about the sale. I was under the impression car salesmen were pushy and Dave and (I think the Manger, Ryan) wouldn't let me leave without pushing me into something I wasn't sure of. That wasn't the case at all!! They were both really cool and understanding about my decision and hesitation. This was surprising considering it was the last day of the month. After sleeping on it a few nights, I made the decision to come back and purchase the 2013 Sonata. The final process was extremely easy. The numbers were already in place. We just needed to finalize the paperwork. The guys remembered who I was, which was cool. I also worked with the new finance guy. I forgot his name. I think his last name is Renteria. I apologize for not remembering. I lost his business card. Anyways, he was really cool as well. He even gave me tips on how to re-establishing my credit. All in all, I had a really good experience here and would come back to see Dave to buy our next vehicle. More
Not so great. EDITED: David showed me their 2004 Ford Escape and I was impressed, I let them know I was interested and considering it with other options. David assured me that McDonald Hyundai takes care of their clients. He also assured me they only sell good cars without problems that are good to go. I brought it in for the detail and asked them to get the brakes to stop squeaking, I picked it up and drove it away and they were still squeaking. Then 2 weeks later my alternator died on me in the middle of an intersection. McDonald offered to replace it at no cost, which I was very pleased about, I also asked them to get the brakes to stop squeaking again. When I picked it up again the brakes were still squeaking. When I say squeaking, I mean excruciatingly screeching to the point that it would drive you mad if you didn't get it fixed. So I then brought it back AGAIN a week later and they told me they can't get the squeaking to stop and to replace the brakes will cost me $400. And they still owe me $90 for the tow, which the Hyundai tow service told me they would email the receipt which I still haven't gotten. When you tell me you only sell cars that are good to go and then this happens, you should take the loss for your customer to makes things right. I have bought 2 other used cars in the past with NO problems after. All I want is 30 days without a problem on this thing. In my opinion this is a complete violation of ethics, and I honestly feel lied to by their salesman, which is the reason I am rating them as low as I am. I will update this with the final outcome.
