McDonald Hyundai has the worst customer service regarding service. On August 29, when I when I had a recall to be done, they didn’t do anything due it wasn’t leaking. Yet, looking up my Vin number it still service. On August 29, when I when I had a recall to be done, they didn’t do anything due it wasn’t leaking. Yet, looking up my Vin number it still says it hasn’t been taken care of, still needs to be addressed. Also, a shout out to Nick Coloroso needs be be fired, he harassed me continuously on text message! This is after I confronted him, no courtesy or respect for customers! I also talked to another dealership about my vehicle and told them the issue I had with McDonald Hyundai, they said they get a lot of complaints about them!! More
Avoid the service department, I came in for a recall on my Hyundai Veracruz and they left my car outside of the service department for an hour before working on it. I had an appointment at 9:40. When I asked the Nick Coloroso who was texting me, why my car was sitting outside and when I had an appointment they said oh I’ll look into it. Then my car went into the service department , where I was supposed to get a recall done. I waited over two hours not counting the hour my car sat outside the service dept. Then I was told to come down, in a cold text from Nick Coloroso that my vehicle was ready, other people had someone from Service come up and tell them their car was ready! How inconsiderate, I felt like I was a bothersome to them, Nick Coloroso said you’ll get an email on the invoice without any communications face to face no respect on what the procedure had been done on my car. They also redid my trip meter back to zero, as if not to tell me how far they drove my vehicle, WHY??? Very deceptive., The invoice in my email also said they didn’t change out the part, because it wasn’t leaking. They just change the oil on the recall. No explanation from Nick Coloroso, while I was there, and mind you they weren’t busy either, deceptive, so what happens if this starts leaking later do they replace it then? I’m not going back to McDonald Hyundai dealership. Being honest, I don’t recommend this dealership. Yes it’s a beautiful building, but the people in it have to take a lesson in how to treat people with respect. I will never return to this dealership nor will I ever recommend anybody else to go there either.! People need a lesson to have respect and courtesy towards all customers! More

I loved this place. Garrett did not pressure me at all. He listened to what I was looking for and went over the options so I could make my best choice. When I decided what I wanted, he also went and got me the best price. I know it was the best price because it was several thousand dollars less than what I offered on the new car. I suggest you go there first and at least try to find what you are looking for because I'm confident you won't need to go anywhere else. More
McDonald Hyundai Service Department really knows what they're doing when consulting their car dealership excuses handbook. These people have an excuse for everything, and they expect the customer to understand them to be reasons for horrible customer service, customer intelligence, customer patience, and customer respect. I recently took my 2013 Santa Fe Sport to them to have my engine replaced. Warranty work, thank goodness, or who knows what they would tried to charge me.. My original service advisor left the company which contributed to the lack of communication. From the get go, I felt like he didn't have a clue what he was doing. Overcharging on services that didn't need to be done, parts that should be included in any standard engine swap, and requested services not completed but conveniently written as a service request declined by me. But, wait, there's more! I was charged $25.00 for gas so the mechanic could test drive the car once the engine was replaced. He said everything worked fine. The transmission, however, was a completely different story. Did I mention that the transmission was the subject of my additional service request? Well, as I rolled my car over the curb, I realized the transmission problem was worse than I thought. It took me an hour and a half to go twelve miles! You get the picture. My car is now at a reputable transmission shop having a new to me transmission installed To review: *. Service took seven weeks to complete. Work took one week; *. Was put on "forever hold" more times than I recall; *. Asked several times to meet the service manager. He was a no-show every time; * New service advisor assigned to my case. Was sitting next to the nice woman who helped me pick up my car. He never once introduced himself, although it seemed he was listening to his associate and I reviewing the paperwork she was presenting me; *. The service manager finally called me on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, to tell me I would be able to pick my car up Friday, May 3, 2024. There was no time given. At 4:45, they texted me to tell me I could pick up my car. I had given up on being able to pick up my car, so I went in on Tuesday, May 7, 2024. To close, this dealership, unfortunately, seems to be like every dealership I've experienced: terrible, with no desire to improve. The entire industry is driven by greed. More
