2 weeks for an oil change? Five months ago I bought a new 2018 VW Tiguan from McDaniels VW. I called to make an appointment for an oil change and was told it would be two weeks Five months ago I bought a new 2018 VW Tiguan from McDaniels VW. I called to make an appointment for an oil change and was told it would be two weeks at the earliest. Five years ago I purchased a new Subaru which I still own from McDaniels Subaru. I decided to call McDaniels Subaru to see if they could change the oil on my VW and was told it would be 2 weeks at the earliest. After spending approximately $70,000 over five years you would think that a customer could get a 20 minute oil change without having to wait 2 weeks. Read the reviews before buying a car from McDaniels VW or Subaru. Unless, of course, good service is not a priority for you. More
Worst experience I have had in 35 years of loyal VW purchase I have been a VW customer for over 30 years and this is my first time leasing an auto. At the end of my lease I opted to buy a Toyota instead. They I have been a VW customer for over 30 years and this is my first time leasing an auto. At the end of my lease I opted to buy a Toyota instead. They made the turning in process with my VW incredibly difficult. They refused to take their own car back despite Toyota agreeing to turn it in as part of my new purchase. I have had to spend no less than 5 hours of my own time trying to get them to accept their own vehicle. I had to wait for their service department to come out and inspect the vehicle and was given a 4 hour window of just waiting around the dealership since that is where the vehicle is now. Everyone there knows how to say I am sorry and no one can problem solve anything outside the norm. It is like they have scripts that they are not allowed to veer off of no matter what the situation. Needless to say VW has lost a customer for good and I plan on letting as many people as possible know just how bad their service is. My experience with them clearly speaks to the value they believe their product has. Disappointing to say the least. More

I was then guaranteed the part would be here Tuesday . When I call Tuesday I was told The ball was dropped in the part would now be here Wednesday .I waited a total of 10 days for one part issued an incorrect price and then hung up on I am so upset that McDaniel dealership is my only dealership in Columbia South Carolina. Considering selling my vehicle More
