McDaniel’s VW dealership reneged from an agreement I had with them last night - including approval on financing pending the trade in of my daughter’s 2017 VW Beetle. Talk about double-talk and a terrible sa with them last night - including approval on financing pending the trade in of my daughter’s 2017 VW Beetle. Talk about double-talk and a terrible sales ethic - I would NOT buy a car, get my vehicle serviced here, or trust this dealership even if they offered me a car for FREE! My salesman Brandon and I had a deal last night when I went to bed - only to find out at around noon today that the vehicle was sold to this young lady- congratulations on your purchase! To my family and friends in the Columbia,SC area - this dealership has no moral compass and if your word is your bond - this VW dealership has failed the Golden Rule. If you’re smart - you will take your business elsewhere! McDaniel’s VW cares only about $$$$. Worst example of customer loyalty I’ve ever experienced - how does management here sleep at night? More

Very pleasant car buying experience, usually not the norm! Our sales person Jared Thompson was very knowledgeable of their inventory and the options they had to offer. He answered all questions and actually took us out to the vehicles and demoed them, with all the hi tech features now a days your lucky to use half of them. But explained in very non tech vocabulary to make it all easy to understand. Financing went smoothly and received a fair price for our trade in…All in all was the smoothest car buying experience we ever had. Thanks to the team at McDaniels Volkswagen on Killian. Terrible customer service. Stay away from this dealership. Their finance department screwed up the paperwork and undercharged my tax by $500.00. They caught it 2 weeks later and called asking me to pay or else they wouldn't file the taxes with the state. I asked if they'd be willing to offer a credit for an oil change due to the stress and hassle of asking for another $500.00 because of THEIR ERROR, but they denied that. Apparently it's not worth $100.00 to satisfy a customer. If it were my business, I'd have eaten the loss altogether, but dealerships don't seem to believe in good customer service anymore. More

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!! They are the most unprofessional dealership in the area!!! The consumer wants the best possible price, but if you try to negotiate at all with them, they will demean y unprofessional dealership in the area!!! The sales manager had the nerve to even email me to tell me how good of friends he is with the GSM and that’s why he was not going to do the deal. The email was astonishing in regards to how unprofessional he was. The sales manager even wrote in the email that he was retracting his previous offer since I was trying to negotiate a better deal. I would highly recommend anyone in the area to contact Paramount Volkswagen in Hickory North Carolina as they will be glad to deliver the vehicle to your home and you will get a much better price and much friendlier service. Even the service department here is horrible. They can’t seem to fix a vehicle correctly and the communication is horrible. More

I called to make an appointment for an oil change and had to leave a message. Left a message on Chris VM...no return call. Called again and had to leave another message on someone else's VM. When I finally spoke to someone I requested to speak to the manager with in the service department and I expressed to him my disappointment and how I left messages and had to keep calling because no one returned my call. He told me that they were too busy to return customers call. Poor management and customer service. More

After $2000. in repairs still came up w/ multiple reasons that they could not repair the car. No apologies or excuses given. Just lies on how its not their fault.
