Oil change Took over an hour for a simple oil change. I got a recommendation for almost 5 thousand dollars in repairs. 3 days before i had my car tires rotated a Took over an hour for a simple oil change. I got a recommendation for almost 5 thousand dollars in repairs. 3 days before i had my car tires rotated at a tire show who inspected may of the same components that this shop told me wee worn to the point of needing replacement soon. The other shop deemed the same components safe and in good working order. My husband who is well schooled in auto mechanics looked over the parts also and said they were in good shape. I did get a free car wash and 10% off my oil change. More

My Experience at McCurley Honda The wife and I recently worked with Derrick Riley and Wade McCurley to purchase a new Honda Accord. We took our time deciding on the Accord and then f The wife and I recently worked with Derrick Riley and Wade McCurley to purchase a new Honda Accord. We took our time deciding on the Accord and then finally what trim package we wanted. Derrick and Wade were pleasant and patient throughout the process. We arrived at the dealership about 10am on that Saturday and drove several vehicles. When we made up our mind it was already around 5pm. At this point there was only one finance guy, Andrew, at the dealership and he had a couple other customers in line before us. So we left to run some errands and we'd get a call when he was ready for us. We went back to the dealership after 6pm and sat down with Andrew. His job at this point is to take us through the paperwork and try to sell us an extended warranty. Extended warranties are not something I purchase but Andrew was certain that we needed the warranty. I explained that not only did I not believe it was necessary, it also skyrocketed our monthly payment. He wouldn't let up though and it got to the point where I was feeling pretty frustrated. Keep in mind we had been there all day and now I was getting hungry. He took the discussion to the point where I almost got up and walked out. If someone says no to a warranty and explains their reasoning just let go of it, especially if the customer is tired and hungry. One more area of concern regarding financing that I have is that the final price of the vehicle included the cost of the accessories rather than having the accessories itemized in the box below the purchase price on the contract. Is this a tactic to artificially raise margins? I'd rather have everything itemized properly next time. More
