They sell crap cars and wont acknowledge you after you sign 1st car I bought broke down, luckily I hadn't signed the paperwork yet. Wasn't so lucky with the second car. Highly trained in deception - If they hand you a pen-run. My goal was only to negotiate the price of my car, then call my bank to complete the sale. Instead I received 2 dings on my credit report & credit score, costing me in the long run because of a higher interest rate. What did I learn.... believe the people's voice, Google's ratings system. On important purchases 4.4 or higher. Here's why... Their shady car salesman ran my credit twice in one sitting after I explicitly stated several times, "I have my own financing and I do not authorizing anyone to run my credit." The following week I was notified of two hard inquiries by McCombs Ford West. So I addressed this concern with the salesman about multiple hard credit inquiries. He flat out denied that "he" did it. Then later stated, "everyone knows when you walk through our doors we can run your credit. You cant buy a car with out a credit check" When I expressed my concerns about this deceptive and borderline illegal practice, they sent out the big gun finance manager who listed all of "his" sales accolades as if that was justification of their shady practices. A He then stated, "my sales guys are trained to just get your comment on anything then we can run with it." It's hard to support "American-made" with guys like this in the business. No thank you McCombs Ford West. When you leave their sales floor you will need a shower and the reason it won't be our Texas Heat. More
