Disappointed Everything went smooth with picking a new vehicle, the APR we got through Ford was amazing. But they dropped the ball with the payoff on my trade in Everything went smooth with picking a new vehicle, the APR we got through Ford was amazing. But they dropped the ball with the payoff on my trade in vehicle. Three weeks after I was still getting calls from my old Financial company that my payment was late. I contacted my salesman he said they sent the check, but obviously they had sent it late. I informed him that since the check was late that the payoff would be wrong. That the 10 day payoff expired on the 19th. He assured me that he would take care of it and that the check had been sent on time according to them. September 5th I get a call from my old Financial company saying the check they sent didn’t payoff the vehicle in full. That it still shows a balance that I am Finacial responsible for even if I traded it in. So I’m having to deal with something that’s shouldn’t even had been an issue. I’m very disappointed that this has caused such a headache and I can’t seem to get it resolved. Update: I have been told by Christian somehow the remaining balance is my fault and something I need to deal with. Even though I had not been late with my payment. I traded my vehicle in August 9th and my payment wasn’t due till August 24th. They are taking no responsibility for the check having the incorrect payoff since it had past the 10 day payoff mark. Ford is a great company but this dealership does not live up to the name. 2nd Update: After not getting anywhere with my salesman Christian over text. Since he wouldn’t return my phone calls. I had to drive 30mins to the dealership Friday September 6th. I talked to Brandon, who had been the one to actually help us get the rate we needed for our new vehicle. When I drove in Christian saw me and didn’t even come speak to me about the problem at all. Turned the other way and sentiment Brandon to talk to us. He explained to me that Christian had just informed him about the issue we were having. Even though Christian had told me weeks ago that he was working on it and was “looking into it”. I let Brandon know my side of what was happening. He instantly offered me help and was very kind about my frustration. He told me he talked to the director and that Christian would pay out of pocket for the payoff difference. He told me Christian would Cash App me that same day September 6th. In good faith I called my old Financial company paid off the remaining balance with my own debt card just to get the situation handled. End of day Friday we hadn’t received anything via Cash App. My husband and I drove back to the dealership Saturday to speak to Brandon again about the money because he had told us if Christian didn’t send the money Friday that they would write us a check. When we arrived Saturday Brandon told us to come back Monday they would give us a full detail on our vehicle and the check. I arrived Monday September 9th, this being the 3rd time I drove the 30mins to the dealership to take care of this. Brandon took my keys, was friendly told me they would detail my vehicle while I waited. Another man I can’t remember his name told me he was a sales manager and that they wouldn’t be able to write me a check today because it take weeks to receive a check from the dealership. This being my first time hearing this and my 3rd time at the dealership I was livid inside. I remained calm and told him that was unacceptable that this was my 3rd trip there. That I needed the money they promised for their mistake. He then tries to just offer me 3 tanks of gas in lue of the money. Which I turned down of course. I’m not going to drive across town every time I need my tank full. Then he tells me Christian would send me the money through Cash App. Christian comes over to me doesn’t look me in the eye. Was very smug and condescending the way he came up to me asking me for my Cash App name. Which I showed him on my phone. He then informed me he wouldn't be sending me the whole amount only half that Brandon would have to send the rest. Confused I asked why? He was very rude and short. He just told me that “Brandon is over there you can get up and talk to him about it”. He then walked away. Didn’t say anything more to me. Not that he was sorry or that he had even sent the money. After that yet another man walked up to me to talk about the situation. Handing me Brandon’s half of the money. Saying that they were trying to help me out with this situation. That they usually don’t help with customers fees on there old vehicles. Are you kidding me? Again someone is saying it was something I did to make this happen. At this point Christian, Brandon, the man handing me the money, and two other men were around me. While the man giving me the money was explaining to me how somehow this was on me. I felt VERY uncomfortable. I didn’t say much to him. Honestly I was uncomfortable and fed up with this ridiculous situation that I just wanted to go. After the all walked away I let Brandon know as they he was handing me my keys that Christian had been rude and that they were making me uncomfortable with everyone around me like that. He apologized. Me with half the money in hand and Other half on my CashApp finally. I thought “what a relief”. I wouldn’t have to deal with this anymore. I get into my SUV and they didn’t even wash my car right, the window was still all dirty. The didn’t even bother to vacuum or clean the inside. Which to me a “Detail” cleaning is outside and in. Then at some point in speaking to all these people and waiting. I had asked for them to fill up my tank as well seeing I had to driven a total 3 hrs driving back and forth trying to deal with this. Which someone said yes. So when I got in and saw that my tank was still empty it was just the cherry on top of my very disappointing over all experience. Brandon was a very good at helping me with this situation even though I’m sure he was uncertain with how to take care of this all or who was actually at fault for mistakes with the payoff. He made me feel comfortable and understood. Christian needs to work on taking responsibility and controlling his very obvious emotions. I could tell he was annoyed with me and the situation. Something he should keep to himself. More
