It is our understanding that you have already spoken with a sales manager, more than once, with regards to your concerns. He let you know that we are not willing to replace your tailgate or bumper on your used vehicle, and at that time, he gave you the option of returning the truck. We let you know that we would be willing to touch up the missing paint referenced, but that was the extent of what we would be willing to do in this regard.

You know I believe y’all did say you would touch up my tailgate so that’s my fault so I apologize but if memory serves me right the delivery drivers boss said whatever it takes to make me happy. When I sent the estimate for repairs I told y’all this is for the tailgate and bumper. Nobody said that we can’t do that. I was also told that they don’t blame me for wanting to have a nice looking truck. Y’all win. I lose.

Hi Andrea. In researching your situation, you were interested in only a very specific vehicle, which had been sold. We informed you as to the other vehicles that were available, & these choices were based upon your individual situation and what the lender (not us) indicated that they would be willing to do with an offer for a loan. Additionally, our sales manager has called you and left messages for you to call back, in an attempt to further assist you. Credit is run with permission from the party that is seeking a vehicle/vehicle loan and that is not considered fraud. Without credit being run, there are no "offers" from any lender as to what they might be willing to do with a potential loan. If you are still interested in pursuing a vehicle loan from us, please return the phone calls made to you from our sales manager. We are sorry the way that you feel/felt during your time spent with us

My credit was run with the specific plan of buying the vehicle which I inquired about. This was available when my credit information was pulled. You definitely do not have to have credit run before picking a car. The car information should have been sent to the bank with my information, instead it was sold. I have bought many cars from dealerships previously and always picked a car and filled out the finance application with all information being sent in for approval. And no, no other vehicle information was given to me. After a week plus of phone tag I was finally told the car was sold and we would have to discuss other vehicles. Then I asked how they made that error and was ignored until I said I was filing complaints. Then more phone tag with your manager Gary Freeze. What absolutely ridiculous is that you’re still making excuses and putting this off on me, as if what you guys did is ok or normal when NOT. Absolutely disgusting and unprofessional. You or your salesman should have explained YOUR error, apologized for the incompetence, and did what you could to correct the situation immediately! It took almost 2 weeks and me telling you I was filing complaints to even get any kind of response and then it was that I was upset because “things didn’t go how I thought they should.” You all should be ashamed.

The issue being referenced by this party occurred approximately 2 years ago. This Subaru had been tuned and we re-built the engine. It came back for an oil leak that didn't have anything to do with the repair we performed. The consumer declined the repair and then the car caught fire sometime thereafter. The insurance adjuster came out and saw this evidence and declined the repair previously quoted and the consumer's vehicle insurance carrier also declined the claim. We did not lie about our recommendations, you just decided to decline the repairs.

I love how you guys will try to lie to cover up another lie Hahaha i never decline to get any repairs done even the subaru master tech confirmed that it was something you guys cause the adjuster never went to you guys because the car was never in your possession after the fire so theres another lie the claim never got denied because they did all the repairs so theres another lie 😉 So telling me i need a new clutch at 17k miles when ive been driving manual since i was 15 is not a lie ? To the point where your management paid me some money because i was being lied too 🙃 lying on the invoice about replacing the turbo on the vehicle is not a lie ? Specially because i knew the original owner of the car he and the shop that did the work on the car comfirmed it was still the aftermarket turbo Was told i was getting a whole new bottom end and all ypu guys did was open it up and replaced the bearing that was bad im assuming thats not a lie either right ? Wait wait what about the part where the heads and turbo was contaminated so had to be replace but never did get replaced thats not a lie either right 🤣 honestly at this point who ever responded to my review should've just kept your mouth shut and kept on moving with the bad review instead of coming in here and lie to tried and cover a xxxxty experience and a xxxxty warranty work and by all means i still have all the records if you really want to go at it 😀

Our oil change pricing is competitive in today's marketplace. When prices on supplies increase from vendors, we have to pass those along to a consumer, just like any business does. Our certified technician's job is to go over your vehicle with their "inspection process" and to let you know if they see anything concerning, from a mechanical standpoint that either needs to be immediately addressed (from a safety standpoint), or in a future visit. We don't "make up" repairs that are needed, it's not how we operate and never will. We do have a vehicle exchange sales staff that it their job to let a consumer know that comes into service for repairs, that they are there for them - IF they want to discuss or see potential options on perhaps trading that vehicle in. Just like it's any consumer's choice as to where they chose to do business, it's also any consumer's option to simply say "no" they aren't interested in trading in their vehicle - but, there are many, many customers that decide that's a great route to go!

Without your real name, we cannot research your situation. We are truly sorry for the way that you feel about your sales experience. As far as the delivery of the vehicle, if any consumer wishes to pay for a truck to delivery your vehicle, you can/could always do so. If you don't go that route, we have a team of logistics drivers that delivers the vehicle right to your driveway. We don't use our traveling glass showroom to deliver a long distance (hundreds of miles) away. We do this because the truck is very large and the road conditions are unknown. Additionally, there are usually types of roads that might be encountered along the way that would be difficult (or perhaps impossible) to navigate around. We do value you and your continued business, and should you wish to give us another chance at earning your business, please let us know by replying directly to karen@mccluskey.com and she will ensure that you work with a sales specialist that values you and your time - and we're truly sorry that we fell short, as per your review, and for letting us know!

Justin Ryan-Haile is my real name but when I purchased the vehicle it was just, Justin Ryan and while I do appreciate your response and wanting to make things right this is the second time I’ve experienced communication issues so I’ve decided to take my business elsewhere. The delivery of my first vehicle back in August 2020 which was a 2018 Honda Civic, it was not discussed with me about my delivery options and I was made to believe that the vehicle would be delivered on a truck and not driven. I only lived in Columbus at the time so I was not hundreds of miles a way by any means. By the time the driver did eventually show I also wasn’t aware that he would have to drive my trade in back to the dealership with my tags still on the car. This took several follow up attempts on my end to get my plates sent back to me because they were personalized tags through the mail while also waiting for the second key that was promised to me in my paperwork-which I still have that says so. I figured even though I had issues with McCluskey prior but still got a great vehicle that had no issues that, I would bring my repeat business back now, three years later and upon filling out and submitting everything online through McCluskey’s site, I figured someone would reach out to me about the purchase of a new vehicle, instead I was met with texts that claimed my advisor would follow up with me and after days passed and me continuing to call and text as well as email it just then became old and I was over it. A customer should never have to chase down the dealership to purchase a vehicle. I even asked to be assigned a different advisor but was told that since Glen already had my file cause he worked with me before that I wasn’t able to. I even explained the issues I had with him the first time around when I made my first purchase from McCluskey. Thanks again for responding back Karen, I do appreciate it but because this happened again with the communication issues, I have decided not to bring my business back to McCluskey going forward.
