Without your actual name, we cannot research your claims, so we will respond in a general related manner. Until an actual credit application is collected, and sent over to a lender(s) for a potential approval, we don't know for sure what the approval/conditions of the approval (by the LENDER, not us), will be. They are in the driver's seat in this regard and their "offer" for financing is contingent upon a variety of factors. We have guaranteed financing, but not guaranteed delivery. We indicate this because once a LENDER determines the parameters of a particular loan, for any consumer, it will always be up to the consumer as to whether or not they can - or will - comply with those terms and conditions in order to move forward with an actual delivery/loan from the lender.

We are sorry for the way that you feel. We understand that you came into our dealership and on 2 separate visits, purchased an "as is" car. The statement you signed indicated that when any consumer purchases an "as is" vehicle, that McCluskey is not responsible for ANY repairs (due to the high miles typically on those vehicles, and the price point that they are being sold), to the vehicle. Even though legally we did not have to do so, once you experienced mechanical issues with the 1st "as is" car - we took it back (there are no right of rescission laws in the State of Ohio), refunding your money to you. At that time, you wished to move forward with another "as is" vehicle and we complied. Again, you drove it and due to your indication of mechanical issues, you wanted to bring that "as is" car back as well, and again, we complied in that regard, although we didn't have to, and simply did as a measure of customer goodwill. After the 2nd "as is" vehicle was returned to us, management then decided that we would not, in the future, move forward with you on another "as is" vehicle since it seemed to be an aspect of misunderstanding on your end as to what an "as is" vehicle meant. There is nothing further to discuss in this regard. IF you are still in the market for a vehicle that is not an "as is" vehicle - from us - please feel free to reach out to your sales rep (Vinnie George, who gets stellar reviews from our/his customers), or you can call 513 741 1111 to schedule an appointment with another sales rep.

The first vehicle i purchased had frame damage and after driving over an hour back and forth the only replacement option i had broke down on me on my way home after purchase. After the over-priced purchase repair estimates was over $2000. Im not sure what reviews Vinnie George had prior to me but this was not my experience

Without your actual/real name, we cannot research this matter further. We have guaranteed financing, not delivery. The LENDER (not us) dictates the down payment, interest rate, payments on what THEY would be willing to do in order to consider providing a loan to any consumer. You didn't get the $1000 card because we did have an approval for you that you didn't accept - from the lender Often times, just because any consumer "wants" to put down a certain amount, and be at a specific payment amount, on a specific vehicle, doesn't mean that the lender will agree to same, as they consider a variety of factors, including but limited to; credit score, income, employment information, etc when the LENDER makes their offer of what they'd be willing to do. Often times, a co-signor can change the situation as well, if you'd like to consider that aspect.

This has already been addressed with this customer. Once we realized that the vehicle we'd acquired had a salvaged title, we informed the consumer that there wasn't a lender that would finance the vehicle, but they could purchase it outright (without a lender/loan), if they desired. They were upset and declined. We no longer have this vehicle on our lot for sale. When any dealership removes inventory from their site, it usually takes 24 + hours for the feeds to remove same & it is no longer appearing on our website today. We're sorry that you felt leaving negative reviews and reaching out to the Federal Trade Commission over something like this was your next step. IF we receive communication from any parties concerned, we will respond accordingly and let them know that once the problem was known, we addressed it accordingly.
