My name is Randy Arnold and I am one of the Managers here at McCarthy-Morse Chevrolet in Overland Park. I've read your review and it is very troubling. I would really like to investigate this further and do what I can to help come to a satisfactory resolution to this situation. But to do that, I need to gather some other information from you. 1. When did you purchase your vehicle? 2. Did you purchase your vehicle New or Pre-Owned? 3. What is the Year, Make, and Model of your vehicle? 4. Who was your Sales Consultant? 5. Did you speak to anyone here at the dealership when you realized that there wasn't a service plan for your vehicle? If so, who did you speak with? 6. Who told you that there would be a Service Plan on your vehicle? Any and all information that you can provide would be of great help to me in resolving this issue. We take these kinds of issues very seriously as we never want our customers to think that we've mislead them in any way. We have a long history here in the Kansas City Metro and that history could only have happened because we strive for honesty and integrity from all of our staff. Please contact me as soon as possible with the answers to the above questions, so that I may begin to figure all of this out. 1) purchased July 2013 2) pre own 3) 2012 Chevrolet Silverado 4) Toby,whom I was told no longer works there when I asked to speak to him after being told that I had no service agreement. 5)I talked to someone in service who looked it up for me. 6) Toby was the one who said they were running a special that normally the service plan was 300 something for the plan. When I purchased my second vehicle I asked him about that special for my Camaro he said that if he had got a better deal on the Camaro that he might have been able to do that.

Thank you for your response. With the information you gave me I was able to look up your deal and pull your deal jacket from our archives. Yes, you are right sir. When you were speaking to Toby, the vehicle was going to be Certified which would have given you two years of complimentary maintenance on your truck. But after reviewing the paperwork in your file, it appears that when you got back into the finance office you waived the certification in lieu of a discounted extended warranty. When the certification was waived, the two year maintenance part was waived as well. I have pulled your deal jacket and have it in my office should you want to review any of the paperwork. If you'd like to come in and do that, please don't hesitate to contact me. Now I completely understand how this could all get confused, so what I've done is added two complimentary oil changes in our service department system which you may use at any time. When you come in and they pull up your vehicle, they will see your two complimentary oil changes and you won't be charged for those two oil change services. Like I told you before, we don't want any of our customers to be dissatisfied. We want all of our customers to feel like they are always treated fairly and I hope that this explanation along with the two complimentary oil changes will show you that we do care about you and all our customers. If this does make for a satisfactory resolution, please consider updating your review to show that. If you have any questions, please contact me and I'll be happy to talk to you.
