Professional and straighforward As a second time buyer from Lees Summit Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram, my experiences both times 10 months apart was consistent and straightforward. There is always the element of negotiations that takes place in the purchase of a pre-owned (first purchase), or new vehicle (second purchase), but the staff and management handled it with professionalism, courtesy, and without manipulation both times. Both parties must win in a negotiation and save face and they facilitated that process effectively. While searching for a vehicle with specific features, I visited another local Dodge dealer and did not have the same experience. After 2 visits to try and buy a truck, I left and drove straight to Lees Summit Dodge and purchased a truck that same evening! The staff and management even stayed after hours a significant amount of time to accommodate me without hesitation. Next time I am in the market for a vehicle, I will visit them again. More

Very friendly and helpful The price with my $2000 trade ended being the asking price because of added charges. Which makes you leave there thinking my car was a gift. Dropped I was pumped to work with this dealership — the friendliness of the staff, promptness to communicate, and accommodations out of the gate were on pace I was pumped to work with this dealership — the friendliness of the staff, promptness to communicate, and accommodations out of the gate were on pace to be an elite car buying experience. My wife and I have worked with multiple Mopar dealerships in the past and they have always delivered. I started by complimenting them early on about them keeping the trend going. I wish I could take my compliment back. Let me first say, Brandon was amazing. A little unprofessional and unorthodox, but it worked. He was genuine and a big reason why I came back the next day to do business. Unfortunately, I found out the next day that Brandon was reprimanded for his interaction with me. There was a 2 on 1 coaching session to find out if Brandon was a good fit for their dealership. How do I know that? Well a “sales manager” informed me of the conversation in an attempt to bond with me. I almost left at that moment in shock of the level of unprofessionalism. Brandon did an amazing job with us, but I don’t know his job performance and it’s quite frankly none of my business. This is the same person that blamed me for their error. I was in the process of buying the used car on day 1, and when the paperwork started rolling out, it listed the vehicle as a 2016 model. I was under the impression it was a 2017 model because of the big yellow sticker on the windshield that had “2017.” When I brought this to the Sales Manager’s attention, his response was “didn’t you look it up online?” I didn’t know it was my fault for trusting your sticker. Brandon leveled with me and called it their mistake. Rick and the Sales Manager creates excuses and easily could have said “sorry.” It was still a great deal and the car I wanted, but I felt misled. I asked multiple times if they had the 2nd key because I noticed the key we had didn’t function properly. I was told yes early on, but once the paperwork rolled out, it was “we’ll try really hard to find it but these things (blah blah blah)...”. All Rick had to say was we do not have that key. Key replacements are $300 for this vehicle; I wanted to know what I needed to prepare for after buying the car. All in all, I’m giving them a 3-star because Brandon was a good salesperson and the finance manager was a real person. The other two are the reason why car sales people get a bad wrap in the sales industry and that’s not fair. The dealership made the sale only because it was the exact car I wanted and Brandon helped me realize that. I’ll be taking my future business elsewhere. More
