I saw the Toyota Tundra sitting on their used car lot while driving by and looked it up on their website when I got home. Requested information and asked for their very best price and they said the list while driving by and looked it up on their website when I got home. Requested information and asked for their very best price and they said the listed price is it. So I let them know I was still interested and made a offer thru email, the thought we could come to a deal so I set a time when I would be in to look at the truck and would bring in my trade. The inside of the truck was nice, they did not clean up the outside. If it would have been clean, I would not have increased my initial offer as there are many many scratches and paint chips on the truck after they said it was near perfect. I would have seen them had the truck been clean. I feel like the truck was misrepresented. They said they detailed it while I waited on the paperwork and all they did was wash it and vacuum it. Did not touch the windows and they were nasty. During negotiation, their initial offer was no where near where I needed to be. The used car manager went back to his cube 4 different times and came back with different offers. It would be nice if they would give a straight answer on the first round and say yes or no to the deal. Instead of wasting so much time. I gave in and paid too much for this truck in the shape it is in. Chad the salesman, was very nice and attentive and was not high pressure which I liked and appreciated. More

I have purchased two other cars from this dealership in the past and my experience was so good, I even referred my BFF! I believe we got a great deal on this car. I am a repeat customer so I knew I could count on LSCDJ to get me the best deal and they did but we were at that dealership from 10am to just after 4pm. Not sure what happened but I'm hoping they (the powers that be) can fix the problem. We waited for over 2 hours for the finance guy and when we were finished there, the car still hadn't been detailed yet so we had to wait another hour for that! As a "preferred customer", Nathan offered to have my car detailed while my we went to lunch to watch the opening day (baseball) game. When we returned around 3:30, my car still wasn't ready! When I did finally get it back (about 4pm), it was still dirty!!! Nathan was fabulous! The manager, Chris, was fabulous! From past experiences, I know the service department is fabulous too but I don't know what happened with this finance guy but whew!!! If I ever need to buy another car (which I'm sure I'll trade again soon), I might consider getting all my financing done elsewhere (USAA) before I go through that again! More
Trading up to a new Durango....thanks for making it happen! As first-time customers, we found our buying experience very enjoyable indeed! Not only did they have a selection of vehicles to chose from, something that no other dealer in the greater Kansas City area could offer, but they worked very fast and efficiently to bring the deal to a satisfactory conclusion. Upon entering the front door, there is always someone there to greet you. More

The salesperson (Karl) discussed our needs and steered us in the right direction for the vehicle we needed. Have to thank him and the rest of the individuals we dealt with for making this important buying experience easy and making our family feel like a part of their family. Would recommend the dealership to any of my friends and family. And will definitely go back when we need to purchase any other vehicle. More
Les ran myself and my husbands credit AFTER telling us several times that he would let us test drive some cars.. NEVER happened!! Instead Les walks back and forth to his sales manager trying to get more o several times that he would let us test drive some cars.. NEVER happened!! Instead Les walks back and forth to his sales manager trying to get more of a down payment out of us. Les offered $6000 for our trade in and told us that the bank would not finance the remaining $4000 in equity with a new purchase! BS!!! This salesman is a joke!! He wanted us to "down grade" to a dodge avenger from a charger??? Ur joking rite?? Then said that our "swag"? Might change a little but we would have piece of mind with zero mileage! Ill pass... The thing that bothered me the most is the fact that he made copies of our drivers licenses first and had us fill out a credit app without even showing us a car that he said he would show us and let us test drive! I think he saw our income on paper and got geeked up thinking he would get a huge down payment-NOT!!!! More
I have a 2012 Chrysler 300 C with the Maxim Lifetime Warranty which I bought from Lees summit Chrysler with a add on package 20 oil changes. On the oil change invoices it had recommended service mil Warranty which I bought from Lees summit Chrysler with a add on package 20 oil changes. On the oil change invoices it had recommended service mileage. It was recommended every 3000 miles. I thought the service manager was competent! Wrong! My Chrysler 300 has an oil change life of 5000 to 8000 miles. When I had car serviced for the 30,000 mile service.. I was told I needed to replace all four tires. I had tires rotated every other oil change. For the 30,000 mile Chrysler service it includes clean fuel injectors and replace sparkplugs and air filter and cabin air filter replaced. I informed Jessie to replace all four tires and have the 30,000 mile service. I picked up car and paid the charge of $1800. And after returning home I looked at invoice and did not see where the oil was changed or the filters replaced. My spouse opened the hood and saw where oil had been spilled covering the top of engine and where the filter is located on the bottom right side of firewall. The filter was completely soaked with oil! I was horrified! I called the Chrysler warranty office and he put me on a 3 way call with Jessie the service manager. Who told the warranty dept. manager that I was responsible for the oil spill and he denied that he had me come in for oil changes every 3000 miles. When the warranty dept manager asked Jessie why I had the oil changed every 3000 miles instead of the 5000 to 8000 mile Chrysler recommendation Jessie said that it was my choice. I have every invoice stating when next service schedule and all had Jessie signature stating next service schedule mileage. My spouse took my car back to Lees summit Chrysler service dept and asked why was the engine covered in oil and filter covered and Jessie said the tech must have ben in a hurry! I paid $4300 for the extended warranty so I could have well maintained car that would last a "lifetime"! I will never take my car back to that dealership in this lifetime! More
Wish I could give negative stars! We bought a used jeep there recently. 1 week later I was driving down the road and it started shaking violently! I was on the interstate and had to quickly pull over. Ser there recently. 1 week later I was driving down the road and it started shaking violently! I was on the interstate and had to quickly pull over. Serious safety issue! We called the dealership and after arguing our case for a while, they finally agreed to fix it. We brought it home and it is still doing the same thing. Also there is a short in the fog light switch. They come on by themselves and run the battery down. We have had to jump it twice! All of this within the first 3 weeks of owning the jeep! We called them again and they said they would not do anything! This place is a joke! Don't buy anything there! Never step foot in the door! My wife and I purchased a vehicle from Lees Summit Dodge. During our conversation with the Finance Manager, he never disclosed to us that the Gross Trade in Allowance of $11,000.00 would not be deducted from During our conversation with the Finance Manager, he never disclosed to us that the Gross Trade in Allowance of $11,000.00 would not be deducted from the purchase price of $25,942.50. Our Sales person Liz stated she spoke to the Finance Manager and he explained how to calculate our sales tax based on our sales contract. She stated he said the amount should not exceed $1000. However, when I arrived at the Kansas DMV the representative explained that the law does not allow for the gross trade in value to be deducted from the newly purchased vehicle's sales tax. She stated the dealership would have been aware of this fact which should have been disclosed to the purchaser as this would have been a deciding factor of the purchase. The fact that the gross trade in allowance would not be applied to our sales tax should have been disclosed as it is a material fact when determining whether or not to purchase the item. The Finance Manager also sold us a maintenance package that he stated covered the full cost of the first 20 oil changes and even calculated the math to display the savings. About 2 weeks later we received the paperwork for the maintenance program and it states the program covers ONLY the first $20 for each oil/filter change and lube. Any dealer charges in excess of the amount allowed by the Plan are your responsibility. The Finance Manager made false statements and concealed pertinent information to execute a sale. The poor/unsatisfied rating is a result of the unprofessional tactics ie. not disclosing pertinent facts affecting the decision to purchase the vehicle and falsifying information about a maintenance program to make a sale. My wife's 2001 Chrysler voyager needs to be jumped about every other week. There is something slowly draining the battery. So I took it up to O'Reilly Auto and had them test both the battery and alternator every other week. There is something slowly draining the battery. So I took it up to O'Reilly Auto and had them test both the battery and alternator, with a load, and both tested good. I then took it to a local mechanic and they said they didn't know what was wrong with it; but that the battery, starter, and alternator had all tested good there too. They even gave me a printout of the test results. So, I took it to the dealership because they supposedly know their own products better than the other guys. I called Lee's Summit Dodge Chrysler Jeep, told them what was wrong over the phone, and asked if they could get around to it that day which happened to be the Friday before Christmas. They said to bring it in. When I arrived they said they couldn't look at it that day because they had a skeleton crew and the electrical guys weren't in. I understand things happen and to their credit they did give me 10% off for my trouble. So I gladly brought it back to them the Thursday after Christmas. When they finally called me back a week later(!) they said it was the alternator. I was surprised, but wrongly believed them since they are supposedly the Chrysler "guru's". So, one week and $600 dollars later I had a brand new alternator and was all set to go. However, a week after that I needed to jump it again (which was the original problem...having to jump it about every other week). I called and told Jesse who was my service writer (Please keep in mind that all service writers get commission on what they sale!). He said that it was probably something else unrelated, that an old van with that many miles on it could have multiple problems (how convenient it was the exact same problem at the exact same time). He said he would re-diagnose it for free then charge me for any other repairs. I told him that my original problem had never been fixed, that it was doing the EXACT same thing I brought it in for, and that I had already paid for their diagnosis and $600 for an alternator that two other places had already told me was good! Instead of standing by their work he stuck by his well- scripted response... that I'm sure all service writers are trained to say (that's it's old and was something else causing the problem). He then also added, "It worked when you picked it up from here. You drove it out of here, did you not?" Heck, I DROVE IT IN THERE! So after a week's wait (on a repair that lists as 1.8 shop hours),a wrong diagnosis, and $600 I have come to the conclusion that they are either incompetitent and don't know what they're doing OR they know what they're doing and are dishonest. Either way.......NEVER, AND I MEAN NEVER, TAKE YOUR CAR TO THEIR SERVICE DEPARTMENT! Please learn from my experience with them. Dealerships don't always know more than the "little guys"....lesson learned (the hard way). More
