Dear Sir/Mam, I apologize for the inconvenience and lack of explanation in regards to the process for an oil consumption test. The purpose of the test is to document oil consumption over 1500 miles in increments of 500. This allows Chrysler to note how much oil the vehicle is using in the 1500 miles to determine if it is within the allowable limits. This should have been properly explained to you by an advisor. Dear Sir/Mam, I understand your frustration with the vehicle. When we have these situations come up we ALWAYS check the recall parts to verify they are working and installed correctly. In the process of looking at the vehicle, if we cannot physically find anything wrong when inspecting it, and the issue is not duplicating, there is no way of diagnosing the concern.
