He gave me time to think, no unnecessary push, and he also did his homework and looked for a tailor made loan with a great interest rate. I told you, I did my homework before coming here. They did not have one in stock at that dealership and Winston went above and beyond to make sure she got the color she really wanted. He got the car delivered from another dealership. If there is a a deal, Victor will make it happen. I was looking to buy a Miata in S. Florida and came to find out how scarce they were to come by. In order to save myself the hassle of running around I was looking to buy a Miata in S. Florida and came to find out how scarce they were to come by. In order to save myself the hassle of running around, I emailed 5 dealerships in my area. After all the smoke had cleared, Victor Benhaim came across as the most responsive and his story never wavered. He said that while he did not have a Miata, he would have one shipped over from Tampa if I was to put down a deposit. He took all the guess work out of the equation and dealt directly with the out the door price and a specific car with VIN and widow sticker, so there were no surprises. Not sure how he did it, but he beat the snot out of all other quotes I got and there was no need to go back and forth on a price. It is nice to know that there are still stand up salesmen out there willing to stand by their word, work hard for a deal and give you a good price to boot. More
Very Disorganized Got a call from my salesman to say that parts that were agreed upon on the sale had arrived on Tuesday, July 9th. They could not do the install on Sa Got a call from my salesman to say that parts that were agreed upon on the sale had arrived on Tuesday, July 9th. They could not do the install on Saturday so I took the following Monday off and made an appt at 9:30 am. Upon arriving, the service associate Diomedes was not aware of what parts were to be installed on my vehicle and had to verify that they were in stock. He said they were in stock and that they install would 2-3 hours, so I left the dealership. Four hours later, I called and left him a message but there was no return call so I headed back to the dealer to see that they had yet to start on my install due to a "parts mix up". A "parts mix up" should not take over 4 hours and a customer complaint to fix. They then came up with the excuse that Patrick did not know how to do the install and that they were waiting for Winston to come back from break. So I did my best to stay calm and waited over an hour and thirty minutes but the install was not started. By 5 o'clock, I got my salesman involved (Victor Benhaim, GREAT GUY) and after pulling some strings, Patrick finally got started on the install. Come 6pm, the Patrick comes over and tells me that they can't finish the install because they have the "wrong screws". Instead of doing what they can to find the right "screws" and finish the job, they said that they would have to put me in a loaner. To top it off, the loaner was filthy. In the spirit of human civility and for the sake of having the job completed correctly, I agreed and was forced to take another half day off of work to pick up my car in the morning. After all was said and done, I asked for a sit down with the service manager Nestor Massani and found out that the lack of customer care goes all the way to the top. He was all excuses and did nothing to make up for the lack of service his staff provided. As a side note, while there was not charge for the install I did since it was part of the sale, I did overhear a service tech quote $120 for the replacement of a cabin filter and engine air filter on a 2015 Mazda 3. This price gouging is way out of proportion when you can easily get both filters for less that $20. All the more reason to stay away from this service center. More
