I purchased a new Mazda Protégé 5 which was my first time buying a car from a dealer. The whole sales process and negation process was good but I didn’t run into any problems till 3 days later. When I spoke with financing the best rate they could find for me was 7.75% and I felt I could do better so asked for 3 days to find a better rate. The agent suggested we put a 3 day hold on it so I could have time to shop around for a better rate which sounded like a good idea. I wanted the car so I trusted him, which was my mistake. He put the application through right away and started 3 months of headaches. I got a loan for 4.75% from my bank but it took me a couple of months to get everything finalized. I felt like I was taken advantage of and will never trust Cush again. More
