Service advisor Marco is a real jerk. I called the location to get an update on a vehicle in service. After being hung up on I unfortunately got connected with Marco. Marco was adamant that he would be unable to look up my vehicle given the last 7 digits of the VIN number. I advised him on three previous occasions his counterparts could look up the vehicle just fine. Aside from that, any dealership you speak with is able to look up a vehicle in service by VIN number. He was extremely rude and attempted to "school" me on how things were going to go. When I told I had just been hung up on by someone else who was able to locate the vehicle, he told me that was the reason I got hung up on. HILARIOUS! Marco needs a serious attitude adjustment. Last time I checked, a customer service position requires at least a touch of personality and hospitality. More
Always appreciate our Mazda Elk Grove Service Center team! I had an appointment scheduled to bring my car in and was supported by Chris. Chris is awesome, very supportive, patient, informative, isn't pushy about service needing to be done all at once. He outlined what was due to be serviced, reviewed my history of services with me. When we realized my service was going to be several hours he asked me if I wanted a complimentary rental car so my daughter and I could go home for the day (I was not in the know about this customer service - that was an awesome surprise!). When the inspection was completed we connected and he went over what should be done now and what could wait for a future service. He also offered for me to save a trip back that evening and come get my car the following morning; this was very helpful since I don't live down the street. While maintenance isn't always the most fun (cha-ching), I do appreciate when the service techs are patient and helpful. The only reason this isn't a 5-star is because I do miss when Mazda used to do the complimentary wash and vacuum after a service. I hope they bring that back!! More

The Mazda team maintains a great deal of honesty and integrity. I have worked with a few different service members (Maritza, Chris and Clayton) they are so kind, when ever I have a problem all the service leaders are ready to help get me back in the road. They are excellent at what they do and are fair when helping out with cost of services. I am happy that I am a part of Mazda and would recommend anyone to get acquainted with Mazda of Ell Grove! More

The service department worked well and fast. Maritza came out and greeted us immediately. She walked us to the waiting room and gave us the run down. I had a decent experience while buying the car. But not so great while getting the service done. I called them three times to get me a estimate for my care service and never got a call back(they sa But not so great while getting the service done. Also I had a $50 oil change coupon with me(which was given by them when I bought the new car from them), and they said It can't be used. I literally drove 100+ miles to get the service done from them and it turned out to be not so great experience. More
