I find these types of reviews the most valuable, specially when making a financial commitment in the thousands of dollars. This is why, I am writing this review. If you are looking for new or even used Mazda, and haven't quite made up your mind on where to go or who to talk to: go to Mazda of Elk Grove and contact Matt Heidrich. From my initial e-mail inquiry at 9pm on an odd Tuesday night; to an immediate reply, literally within minutes; to a concise follow up call; and finally, what I would say one of the most pleasant (I KNOW!!!! PLEASANT) car buying experience I have ever had (by the way, this is car 3 for me, so I have vast experience with dealerships and the buying car process). Matt made me feel comfortable, and earned my trust by being incredibly patient, professional and knowledgeable. He really listened and focus on what I wanted and needed out of a Mazda. Together, we were able to spec out a car that I liked and was realistic. Mind you, I had a considerable list of items that I need someone like Matt to help me reconcile; such as a strict budget, a tricky trade, and the desire for some nice finishes on a car to make my commute much more comfortable (have a 2.5 hr commute in perfect traffic every day). Matt handle all of my transactions as if they were his own, taking a personal interest on my satisfaction, which is a rare quality, but also one that is greatly appreciate. He was my advocate and voice to the financial department, and in the end was able to negotiate a deal, that I know he would have negotiate for himself (how do I know this, I plugged the numbers into various car sites and they confirmed this - AWESOME DEAL) After all was said and done, he was just as happy and please as me. I would also say, that at this point, after all the paper work is signed, most sales associates/managers walk away, but Matt has followed up and even today has made himself available for questions, concerns etc. If your serious about buying a Mazda want someone to help you buy a car rather then just selling you one, go to Mazda of Elk Grove, and give Matt Heidrich a call. Awesome Experience, Thank you Rachel, Anthony, and Jaik! After having a horrible experience with a Mazda dealership across town a day earlier I contacted Elk Grove Mazda by email. I received a response from Rachel who was extremely attentive and helpful. She went out of her way to help me on her day off. Rachel made arrangements with Anthony and Jaik to take care of me and my dad. When we arrived at the dealership we received quick and friendly service. There were a couple of buyers ahead of us and if not for that we would have been in and out of the dealership with our new car in around an hour. Even with the people ahead of us it only took a couple hours. I would recommend this dealership to anyone! Everyone was so great and they went out of their way to make sure we got the car we wanted at an affordable price point. It's not often you come across a car dealership like this and if I could give them 10 stars I would. Thank you Elk Grove Mazda! More

So, saying that Rachel was wonderful to work with is a very big compliment. She was very attentive to my questions in the early stages of the inquiry and went the extra mile to stay in touch and bring in other experts when she was unable to answer questions (that is awesome, b/c no one person has all the answers). She was also a fun person to work with, just very good natured. Grant, in finance, also went way above and beyond to make sure I had a deal that fit my budget. He knows his stuff and took the time to explain when I needed more info. He also seems well connected to lending institutions which is very helpful. I walked away with a gorgeous car that I absolutely love~ More

First time buyers I was looking for a good car that was affordable for a kid in college with no family help. Josh went above and beyond what i could ever expect for a car salesman to go . He worked with me and my boyfriend for a couple days and worked even when he went on his birthday vacation. He did his magic and got us into a 2012 Nissan Versa Hatchback and we love it. Everyone at Elk Grove Mazda went against the norm of the stereotypical pushy car dealership.
