We like the smoothness of the ride and the comfort of the front seats. Garrett was helpful in reviewing the notable features of the CX9. He particularly pointed out eh blind spot features and all that it does. He was courteous and patience as he explained it to us. Garrett took care of us through the Costco Auto Program and he did all he could do to get us the best deal. Thanks Garrett. I am a single female in my fiftes, who's faithful Toyota Camry of eleven years was sadly due for retirement. I felt pretty sure that I was going to buy a Toyota RAV 4, but decided to stop by and loo Toyota Camry of eleven years was sadly due for retirement. I felt pretty sure that I was going to buy a Toyota RAV 4, but decided to stop by and look at the CX-5 and the Murano at the Mazda and Nissan dealerships close by. As soon as my Sister and I parked my Camry, we were greeted by Omar who was very friendly and had a relaxing manner about him. I immediately felt comfortable with Omar, which was great because I wasn't looking forward to the car buying experience. Because my comfort level with Omar was good, I decided to actually test drive the CX-5 and the Murano also on the sales lot. Omar was knowlegable and answered all of my questions without making me feel silly. Needless to say, I loved both vehicles and never made it to the Toyota dealership. Although I love the reliablilty of the Toyota RAV 4, the CX-5 and Murano had more exterior style and attractiveness to go along with "reliability". I had a hard time deciding between the CX-5 and Murano, but Omar helped me through it by showing me all the different option combinations and tallying the cost factors etc. Due to the very impressive Manager's special on the Murano (a 2012 that hadn't sold yet), I finally decided to purchase the Murano, which was more car for my dollar instead of the CX-5 with the better gas mileage. Even though I had decided to buy the Murano, I was prepared to walk away if I did not get a fair trade-in price for my car. However, I am happy to say that we were able to agree on a fair trade-in price. At this point Omar introduces me to Dave, who will handle the financial portion of my car buying experience. I dread this part because of the pressure to buy additional products/warranties, however, it wasn't too bad. Dave starts his pitch by advising me of the freebies and then procedes to the financial add on's. After listening to Dave's logical explanation regarding the maintenance and warranty plans, I realized that he was right it would be to my benefit to purchase a pre-paid maintence plan. Especially, since I am one of those car owners who still has faith that I will get the best maintence/repair work for my vehicle at the dealership. Dave really surprised me by giving me a better interest rate than the Golden One Credit Union that I was pre- approved for, by lowering the interest rate Dave earned my business over the Golden 1 Credit Union and helped me to include the cost of a pre-paid maintenance plan within my monthly payment budget. Although I was at the dealership for approximately four hours, that included two test drives, me trying to decide which car I wanted to buy, all the paper work and an over view of the car. Overall my car buying experience was great, and I would recommend Omar and Dave to my friends and family for assistance with any future vehicles they may purchase. A special thanks to Omar for taking the time to send me a picture of my old Camry, which I forgot to do in the excitement of buying my new car! More
