This was my first experience buying a car from a dealership. I arrived at opening time and all sales associates were in a meeting. I recently purchased a new car from Mazda of Elk Grove, and on the sales side, Rick and Vu were very helpful. Rick happened to be there when I showed up, test drove a few cars with me, and even pulled a ne and on the sales side, Rick and Vu were very helpful. Rick happened to be there when I showed up, test drove a few cars with me, and even pulled a newer version of a Nissan up so I could compare the engine noise (apparently they chatter a bit). A few days later I came back with a more specific car and price in mind, and ended up working out the price with Vu, who had been helping with quotes online. He matched another dealer quote, although the original offer was still reasonable. In turn, the person I worked with to work out the financing and papers was very professional and helpful. He did try to upsell some, but not at all in a pushy or annoying fashion. I'm sorry I can't remember the name right now. Overall, I was happy with how the purchasing went. Hopefully I won't have the opportunity to find out how well they live up to their car servicing commitments. More
