The experience started out well, but after I purchased the vehicle I requested a copy of the check list they use (the list that the sale rep states that it passed on inspection). After getting it home the first thing I got the next morning was a puddle of oil. I guess after I purchased the car they decided to over tighten the oil plug, crimping the 0-ring. About a month later while driving in the heat, finding out that the AC is not working, so looking at the hoses, find out that there was a leak in one that the inspector missed. Just fill it up so it works for the test drives. I also e-mailed the service manager asking for the check list again with no reply. I don't like writing bad reviews, but every time I drive the car, those things just keep bugging me. I will NEVER purchase another used car (maybe new) from Elk Grove Nissan. I inquired online and Matt sent me a message asking what I was looking for. I gave him all of my specifications and desired price point and he found a car for me. When I got to the dealership, he already had the car waiting. Matt was super friendly and very knowledgeable. He was able to work with Grant in the finance department and get us the deal that we were looking for. After that it was only a matter of signing and Grant made that part a breeze. I know that the biggest dread of car shopping is a pushy sales person or rude financing department, but Elk Grove Mazda was fantastic and did not have any of that. I highly reccomend both Matt and Elk Grove Mazda!!! P.S. DidI mention that I LOVE my car and that it's awesome!!! More

I needed a high-mileage, fun car for my daily commute, and after doing a ton of research online, I chose to visit Mazda of Elk Grove for a test drive. As I walked in, Ratish cheerfully greeted me, asked me a few questions, and off he went to task Matt to bring up a car for me to test drive (they were very busy on a Friday evening). Matt is a skilled salesman. He tailored his approach to me and my needs, and I never felt talked down to or marginalized (unlike the recent very bad experiences I had at other dealerships). He gave me all the information I needed to make my decision on which car to buy, and he did it with cheer, humor, and care. Just a few days later, I was happily driving off in my new Mazda3, My husband and I will be back to Mazda of Elk Grove to buy our next car, and the one after that. Matt, Ratish, Jaik, Steve and Grant have earned a lifetime Mazda customer. More
Things worked out in the end, but the middle was a hassle. Ratish was our first contact on July 29. He was nice but we couldn't get together on a deal. The offer for our trade in was laughable so we decided to leave and sell it on our own. After selling the car we decided to try and work things out via phone beginning August 4. Just like when we went in we were unable to get things taken care of, although we were under the assumption that we were still working on a deal. On August 5th while waiting to hear back from a bank, we decided to go in since we hadn't heard back in hours. Although we were disappointed to find out that the car we were negotiating for was in process of being sold to another buyer, Anthony was able to find something similar to fit our needs and get a rate/payment we could finally agree on. Garrett handled the sale and even followed us home for the deposit and proof of income. We were also offered a free fill up when we had to come back in on August 7 to fill out a few documents that were missed (they were short on finance people on 8/5 so Anthony took care of the paperwork to get us out quicker). Overall it wasn't an amazing experience, but the friendliness of the staff and seeing the smile on my fiancee's face made it a pretty good experience. If I ever decide to purchase a Mazda again I would have no problem returning. Thanks! More
Jaik was not pushy, tried to understand what our needs were and even during the negotiations was considerate and respectful. He helped us find a car that fit our requirements, was very good at showing the features particularly some that we were not aware of. He also shared with us the value of buying from this particular dealership such as the 10 Point Value Guarantee and related features. Jaik and Anthony were willing to work with us on some defects we saw with the car. Jaik went out of his way to get everything covered in a timely manner. He also personally took the time to get the car ready and cleaned so we could take it that evening. He got us scheduled for our first oil change and explained how to get in contact with the service department for some needs there. Steve got us quickly taken care of on the paperwork and yet everything was clearly covered and he ensured we understood what we were signing. We've already gotten a message from Jessie Giles to schedule our service work, gave us her contact info and indicated she would call back since she wasn't able to reach me. End to end it was a great experience and I would recommend that others consider this dealership without any reservation. More

They were very patient and worked with us as much as they could to get to a price we were comfortable helpful in showing us the car and its features. However, it would be helpful to know the maintainance information (i.e. frequency of maintainance and prices) as a part of our consideration for choosing the vehical as we were surprised at the cost. I live in San Jose and I was looking specifically for a white touring Mazda5. The closest I could find was in Elk Grove, and I could not be happier with the team in Elk Grove. We very quickly came to a price that we were happy with (that's very competitive) and Anthony made sure that the transaction is set up as smoothly as possible. Then when I took the train to go to sacramento on a Sunday, Matt sacrificed his day off to pick me up at the train station and finished the transaction with me. Matt was really a great great guy, I thoroughly enjoyed my time there. It's like hanging out with a friend! Everything went even better than in my wildest imagination and I am so glad I lucked into these great guys at Elk Grove Mazda More
