Super Duper 5 Star Rating Experience : I was shopping around for a compact car for my son who goes to Sacramento State University. Not knowing the hours I happen to be there 15 minutes befo I was shopping around for a compact car for my son who goes to Sacramento State University. Not knowing the hours I happen to be there 15 minutes before they open on Sunday before Labor Day. Guess what? I was greeted outside by sales specialist Nick Ishihara who happen to be there early as well! He impressed me with a warm welcome and made me very welcome. He took time to listen to my needs and showed me all options. Nick was very professional, friendly and not pushy at all when I told him that I need to coma back later with my wife and son. I visited one other dealership to on my way home at the same Auto Mall just to do comparison shopping. I left there very disappointed. I later went back to meet Nick with my wife and bought the Mazda 3 from him.Nick made the difference in making it very a very pleasant and enjoyable shopping experience. An Incredible First Car Experience My name is Justin Martin and I came into Mazda of Elk Grove after reading amazing reviews online from Yelp, and so I came for a pleasant experience fo My name is Justin Martin and I came into Mazda of Elk Grove after reading amazing reviews online from Yelp, and so I came for a pleasant experience for my first time buying a car. I was immediately greeted by Matt Heidrich, who asked me questions about my price range for a car. After I gave him my initial run-down, he found me new and used cars that exactly matched what I was looking for. After I found and test drove the 2014 Maza3 that I wanted, he went above and beyond to get me the best possible deal he could, without being pushy or impatient. All the while, he let my brother play with his iPad and eat pizza too! That was very important to me as well - he is a very family and friend oriented person. After I received the go ahead that I could buy the car, I had a very smooth and pleasant experience with Steve Wray, who laid out the best plans for me in terms of coverage. After that, my car was ready to go, but not before Matt personally went and helped detail my car to perfection. He would not expect anything less than perfect. Lastly, he showed me all the extra features of my car, and seemed just as excited as I was to drive it off the lot and enjoy my new Mazda. Matt even told me that I could personally call him at anytime with questions about my new car, which made me feel that they had my back even when I drove off the lot. I am fortunate and very lucky to have had the experience I had at Mazda of Elk Grove. No place is better, not one. Top notch, friendly, transparent sales experience Mazda already had a leg up on the competition in our car shopping process since the best in class rated Mazda 3 S pretty much sells itself the moment Mazda already had a leg up on the competition in our car shopping process since the best in class rated Mazda 3 S pretty much sells itself the moment you sit in it and feel how much better it is than other economy compact cars (the slightly higher price tag is more than justified). However, the sales service provided by Matt Heidrich made it nearly impossible to consider another dealer, let alone another car. In addition to being immediately friendly and likable, Matt has both an encyclopedic knowledge of and an absolutely genuine love for the product, and it shines through from the moment you meet him. We had already driven both the I and the S models at another dealer and knew that the glowing reviews the car has on the internet are correct, but Matt took us out and gave us the chance to really feel what was special about the car, which we didn't get at other shops. Honestly, that was enough at the very least to seal our choice of cars. However, what came next is what sealed our choice of dealers. Any salesman with any sense at all would have seen that we were a hot lead lead at that point, and many would have attempted to take advantage of us. Now, don't get me wrong -- Matt is a fabulously skilled salesman, and worked the sale well -- but he treated us like people first and foremost, respecting us and our decision making process while making himself available night and day for consultation, even on his days off. And when it came time to buy, he continued to amaze by acting as an advocate on our behalf in the negotiation process, making the process as transparent as he could, and by removing as much of the time and hassle associated with closing a car sale as humanly possible. This dealership's good reputation is well earned in general, by the way -- it has a pleasant atmosphere, generally friendly staff, nice always included freebies like an extended power train warranty, and working with Joe Luiz in their finance department was similarly pleasant -- but Matt's exemplary work was truly something special. I'll be recommending both him and this dealer to friends in the future, and hope to have a chance to work with him again the next time we need to buy a car. More
