The first time we shopped around to several dealers before deciding on Elk Grove Mazda. We would not go anywhere else. We love our cars and would recommend Garrett as the man to see to get the car of your choice. More

Our eldest (19) wanted to test drive a few different models before deciding on which one he wanted. He was knocked back at a few dealerships around Elk Grove because of his age or maybe they didn't think he was a serious buyer. This didn't happen with Gill at Elk Grove Mazda! Because of the first great deal, we came back for an even better deal on the 2nd car! More
Perfect experience for first time car purchase Before Elk Grove Mazda, I had negative experiences at other dealerships as a result of the aggressive and "pushy" sales reps. I expected to have that Before Elk Grove Mazda, I had negative experiences at other dealerships as a result of the aggressive and "pushy" sales reps. I expected to have that same experience at Elk Grove Mazda. Much to my surprise, purchasing a car at Elk Grove Mazda was incredibly simple and straightforward. I worked with Nicholas Ishihara. We test drove a Mazda 3. He was incredibly helpful and informative during the entire experience. He was not pushy or aggressive. He made it clear that he would work to get me the best deal on a car and never pressured me. He got me a great deal and was completely honest about everything. It was a low stress experience. I walked out with an awesome Mazda 3 (i Touring and technology package). I couldn't be happier with it. I would definitely recommend Elk Grove Mazda to anyone. The sales process is ideal and exactly what you would hope for. Financing was also easy thanks to Steve Wray. He was great. More
Excellent Customer Service I found Elk Grove Mazda dealer ship along with two other Mazda dealers which were close to me in Sacramento. Considering the fact that I was a first-t I found Elk Grove Mazda dealer ship along with two other Mazda dealers which were close to me in Sacramento. Considering the fact that I was a first-time buyer and somehow new comer to US most of dealerships would give me really high APR which I did not like at all. I emailed the three dealers my conditions and situations and the best offer came outta Elk Grove. The sale associate who brought up the best deal for me was Matthew Heidrich. He is definitely a really friendly representative and his biggest goal is to send you outta of dealership happy. He is not from those kind of car dealers who insist on bringing you to the dealership ASAP. He first had me fill out the application form, gave me his offers and after I chose one of his offers he gave me an appointment to do the deal. So I only went there for one time and came back with my brand new car. Not only he provided me with the best possible deal but he was there until the last moment of paper works to make sure everything goes on perfectly. He gives his cell no to his customers and ask them to call him if they have any question or problems even at new years Eve. In a nutshell I strongly recommend Mazda Elk Grove and I say without a doubt just go to Matt. He will do his best and the greatest result will come out of that. More
Perfect new car buying experience for me I emailed Elk Grove, Garrett replied with a fantastic quote exactly in line with what I expected for the model I was shopping for. He provided many de I emailed Elk Grove, Garrett replied with a fantastic quote exactly in line with what I expected for the model I was shopping for. He provided many details and a couple different options. He never made me feel like I was crazy for asking questions (which is something a lot of dealerships do). In the end, another dealership beat his price quote by a bit, but I wanted to buy from Elk Grove because they seemed honest and well-organized. I got into the dealership and the experience was solid. I poured over all the documentation and everything was in order. Not only was his offer correct to the dollar, the out the door price actually turned out to be less because of favorable taxes. The only thing that wasn't totally perfect was the detail on the car but I came in at 9 PM so they did a good job rather than an excellent one. I'd definitely go back to this dealership first if shopping for a car they carry. More

Mazda of Elk Grove delivers A+ CUSTOMER SERVICE every time! SALES PROCESS - I worked with Ratish Singh and really could not be happier with how it all turned out. I probably looked at and test drove the Mazda 6 SALES PROCESS - I worked with Ratish Singh and really could not be happier with how it all turned out. I probably looked at and test drove the Mazda 6 a half dozen times over 3 months before sitting down to work a deal. I went to other Mazda dealerships initially too, but after speaking to Ratish (feeling welcomed by him to browse, being treated with the utmost respect, evaluating my purchase plan, talking over car options, introducing me to the other Mazda team members), I vowed to come back to Mazda of Elk Grove when I was ready to purchase. I am glad that I did. I have been through the car buying process a handful of times in my life, and like you all, most (if not ALL) of them are NOT what you'd consider a positive experience. Well, I can honestly say that this was my first! In short, Ratish and the finance manager (whose name or face I could not pick out of the check boxes, failing memory?) were forthright and simply willing to work with me. Frankly, I had a budget. I knew exactly what I wanted to spend. I did months of research. At some point, it becomes a MATH EXERCISE and they were willing to help me understand the options. They happily did exactly that! In this case, I was the bottleneck (slowing the process, crunching numbers) and they were with me the entire way. No pressures... more like an educational process, while they also looked at ways to help get me into the exact vehicle and color scheme I wanted. It was about as easy as it could be, all things considered. I wouldn't hesitate going back to purchase another vehicle from this team. They were that good... no joke... no fluff... I just honestly would. FINANCE SIGNING / EXTENDED WARRANTY - I worked with Tommy Davis during this process. Tommy was personable, charismatic, thorough, and very informative. I am going to be honest here and say that I felt more pressure in this leg of the process than during the initial sales process. Maybe it was just me and my situation but the scenario was this --> I just spent 2+ hours working the deal with the sales team, we already landed on a payment plan that worked for me, I was excited about the purchase of my new Mazda 6, I just had spent the better part of that 120 minutes crunching numbers and getting comfortable with a car payment (after the likes of 10+ years without one), but then comes another decision... EXTENDED WARRANTY? FINANCE IT? PAY IT OUTRIGHT? ADD TO THE PAYMENT STRUCTURE YOU ALREADY MENTALLY PREPARED FOR? In short, I was already worn out by this stage, though had to continue to work for the payment range I had targeted. I don't know if it is the FINANCE / EXTENDED WARRANTY PROCESS itself or my own state of mind at that point, but I would consider this leg of the process to be very typical of buying a car, and would urge potential buyers to prepare for it. It felt a bit like an up-sell, as it obviously was not over until it was over (as in what you thought your monthly payment would be). We haggled back and forth, some awkward silence, etc, etc (typical un-fun stuff)... until I was comfortable with how much it added to my payment (to finance the extended warranty). I almost waived the warranty entirely, considered paying for it outright, and looked at aftermarket warranty options (on my phone). I suggest preparing your thoughts and payment range accordingly but this obviously was my least favorite part. I would imagine that my mind-state would be somewhat typical of any buyer by this point. Maybe this part is a "tough gig" or "hard sell"??? Either way, it was not enjoyable. I would have felt more satisfied negotiating an OUT THE DOOR MONTHLY PAYMENT THAT INCLUDED THE EXTENDED WARRANTY from the start or at least seeing what a payment looked like with or without the extended during initial negotiation. All that being said, this is NOT a knock on Customer Service. Maybe it is the process that leaves something to be desired if we are truly trying to make the car buying experience stress-less??? At the end of the day, Tommy Davis also worked with me, is a nice guy, super positive, and someone that greets me with a smile and kind words whenever I am in for service. Speaking of SERVICE, I just brought my vehicle in for my third oil change and scheduled maintenance. In a sentence, the customer relations aspect of the SERVICE DEPARTMENT (as in how you are treated) has been TOP NOTCH. Honesty, I do believe that service personnel go above and beyond expectation to make sure you feel valued as a customer. I have spoken to Kyle Clauson on a number of occasions and he always greets me at the doors, listens to me ramble, and then addresses my needs. The appointments are spaced as such that there is seldom a line just drop off the car nor do the service writers seem rushed. They have always been willing and available to provide individual attention. As a courtesy, they also wash your car after every service. That is a very nice touch! Appointments can be made online very easily and rental cars are available up request. Now, I do think that the actual service performed on my vehicle follows a different criteria NOT covered in this review but overall, my experience with service has been positive and I would recommend and give the department a high rating accordingly. PARTING THOUGHTS - Here you have dealership that is overtly trying to exceed expectations, and they are succeeding. Is it the free car wash after each service? Is it the built-in extended power train warranty that they offer? Is is their no stress Sales process? Is it the kind, customer service oriented people that they hire? Is it the way they offer to drive you across the parking lot when picking up a rental (while having your car serviced)? Is it the lifetime (drive thru) car wash and vacuum stations that they offer onsite? Is it the willingness of the staff to go the extra mile every time? Combination of all of the above? I don't know, but I 100% appreciate it. I see and value the differences, and even the mere attempt to be something different than those "other" dealerships. Let's be honest here... many of those other places don't carry the best reputations. In my opinion, we should truly value and support the dealerships that do. So, would I recommend Mazda of Elk Grove? Absolutely. Your mileage and experience may vary but they have worked for and earned my business. More
