This is for Jaik Willmon, Anthony Triggs, Steven Wray and John Hennessy I brought my 2008 Mazda 3 in on Tuesday March 18, 2014 in the morning to the service center because the engine was over heating and John Hennessy I brought my 2008 Mazda 3 in on Tuesday March 18, 2014 in the morning to the service center because the engine was over heating and the engine would just shut off on me. John Hennessy helped me and was very helpful and nice and got the shuttle to take me to work. I talked to John about noon and he told me it was my thermostat and I needed breaks in the front which was going to cost me over $800 that I barely had so I told him it's ok to fix it and he said he will have it done at 5:00pm that day. The shuttle picked me up at work before 5:00pm. We got back to the dealership at 5:30pm and John checked on my car and he said they were still test driving it. When the guy came back he said it was still overheating and it acted like it was going to die so he checked the heads of the car and there was fluid getting into the heads that was not good and it would have cost me more money to fix it that I didn't have so I asked him If I can buy another car and he said we can go check with the sales manager about it. So we went to talk to Anthony Triggs who was the Sales Manager at the time and explained the situation to him and he said I can buy another car and they will use my car as a trade-in. Anthony Triggs asked me what kind of car I wanted and what payment I wanted and I told him I needed a small car and my payments around $200 so he asked me to test drive the 2014 Mazda 2 so he had Jaik Willmon take me out for a drive. Jaik was very nice and new a lot about the car and if he didn't know something he looked it up to give me the answer. Jaik had me complete my paperwork so Anthony can check my credit and see if my bank can do the financing. Jaik was always very helpful and was a good listener. Anthony got me approved with my bank and my payment somewhat close to what I wanted and he was very nice to work with and I would see him again in the future when I buy another vehicle down the road. Steven Wray (Financing) came over and got some information from me for my finance papers and I worked with him while Jaik went to have my new car detailed. Steven was very nice and new his job very well even through I had to come back a few more times because the interest rate changed and my payment was lowered he even came in on his day off to finish the paperwork which I felt bad that he came in on his day off to correct my paperwork. I really appreciated that he did that so he can get my paperwork done fast. When we were done with the financing part then Jaik took me to my new car that he made sure it looked really good and no water spots on it and made sure I new where everything was on the car and how to use everything. I know he was to get off work at 9:00pm, but he stayed with me until we were done at 10:00pm. Jaik I really appreciated everything you did for me and even though you are young you new what you were talking about, but there is always more you can learn so keep learning all you can and maybe you will be a Sales Manager some day. This is why I keep buying cars at Nissan and Mazda and I always tell other people they should come their also because you guys always take really good care of your new or long time clients with the coupons and car washes and just the GREAT cars and customer service. I really appreciate all of your hard work and long hours you put in and I think you should have a popcorn machine or something so the sales people and clients can munch on something when they are there so late at night and maybe they haven't had dinner yet. Car shopping is a notoriously stressful experience, going from dealer to dealer trying to fend off greasy slick salesmen pushing poor quality cars. I am writing this review because our (My wife and I) experience at Mazda of Elk Grove was very different. Natalie met us when we arrived at the dealership, I explained that I had seen a car on autotrader and was interested in taking a look at it. Natalie took the time to let me inspect all over the car, she had on hand the carfax report and the list of work that the dealer had done to get it ready for sale. Many of the items they repaired could have been ignored and I wouldn't have known, the techs obviously do a good job checking over these cars before they go on the lot (I am a 14 year ASE Master Technician, so I don't say that lightly). Natalie then allowed both my wife and I to take extensive test drives. I need to note here that we were given our drivers licenses back before we went on the drive there was no pressure to stay and negotiate while asking for your license that so many dealers do. Once we had all our questions answered, we went inside and discussed financing and came to an agreement. Natalie then introduced us to Steve Wray the finance manager who walked us through the paperwork process and even recommended a nearby restaurant for lunch. Friendliness and a welcoming feeling was prevalent across the dealership. We never felt like a meal ticket, quite the contrary, people working there that we did not even interact with congratulated us on our car purchase and seemed very genuine. I would highly recommend Mazda of Elk Grove to friends and family. When you go, say Hi to Natalie and Steve for us! More

My husband and I hate the process of buying a car but Josh and the Staff of the Elk Grove store put us at ease and truly cared about or used Car!!!!! The staff are knowledgeable, friendly and answered all of are questions we had. We Frist came to the Elk Grove store to see if they had any Madaz 3 speeds and left because they didn't, but came back 20 minutes later because of the Vibe we got from all the employees. I'm so glad we did. My Husband Loves his New Mazda 3 sport and we both wanted to thank Josh & Tommy for making are car buying experience amazing. Because of them we will recommend Mazda of Elk Grove to anyone who is looking for a new car and we will come back and purchase from them again and again!!!!!!!! More

Within 45 minutes I had my payment options; ran my errands; within 30 minutes Rachel texted me with an approval; came back in, test drove the car, signed the papers with Steve, and took a final walk-around the car all within 2 hours. I started at Infinity and it was not quite the car for me. No hard core seas just very nice people who want to make sure you buy the car you are going to be happy with. Elk Grove Mazda was participating with Consumer Reports so I spoke to Garrett and asked him for a specific vehicle ( not at his dealership) and told him I was talking to another Mazda Dealership and wanted so I spoke to Garrett and asked him for a specific vehicle ( not at his dealership) and told him I was talking to another Mazda Dealership and wanted to see which one could get me the Car I wanted and give me the best price. I called both Salespeople around 9am on a Tuesday morning and Garrett had located the vehicle and emailed me the price along with the window sticker by 10 am... The other Dealership never provided me with the information for a comparison and tried to convince me a different vehicle would work for me. Garrett's willingess to go the extra mile along with Elk Groves ratings and of course the price made the decision easy. It was an overall good experience and if anyone I know is looking for a Mazda I would definitely refer them to Garrett. More

(It's such a relief to be able to walk onto a lot and not be "pounced upon" immediately by a seemingly desperate sales team.) Maverick America was a top-notch salesman: friendly, professional, knowledgeable and patient. He understood that we weren't prepared to make a purchase the first time we stopped in, so he kept in touch with us after that visit in an appropriate and casual manner. All of my questions were answered throughout the process, and by the time we returned to the dealership for the second time, we knew this was where we wanted to buy our next car. Mazda clearly makes a quality, highly-rated product - but even more importantly, we wanted our purchase to be supported and backed by a dealership that genuinely cares. Obviously, Mazda of Elk Grove puts their customers first by providing many extras services/benefits with no additional cost. Grant Salge made the negotiation process comfortable, friendly and fair. Once we were turned over to finance, Steve Wray took us through the next steps quickly and with a warm, human touch. Once again, we didn't feel the usual sales pressure that can often happen during financing. The day after making our purchase, Jessie Giles called to schedule installation of the upgrades we purchased. Every step was handled in a caring and upbeat manner that put us, the clients, first.
