The search was very easy to use, the specials were easy to navigate, and rebates were easily accessible. With everything being so up front and honest, i knew this was the best choice to purchase my new CX-5. First contact with a representative was through email. He was very courteous and wanted to know ever detail about my inquiry to narrow my search down. Unfortunately, this was the only contact i made with the individual because the next day I traveled to Elk Grove Mazda to get a test drive in with the vehicle I was interested in. Next contact was the sales consultant. He was very personable and friendly to my family and understood that having a 2 year old can be cumbersome especially when working out details about the car and haggling. We battled a little to make a deal that we both see advantageous for the both of us and finally coming to a decision on pricing. Maverick was one of the best salesman i have worked with in a long time, He was very knowledgeable on the CX-5 that i was purchasing and could answer any question i threw at him. I would definitely recommend him to anyone i know. Finally, we had to deal with the finance manager... By far the worst of the worst in my opinion. Everything started off great! We did the whole meet and greet, he even gave my daughter a coloring book and some crayons while we discussed the finances. After that, everything went downhill. We first started off talking finances of course. We noticed a APR issue, They tried to give us a 3.9 APR for 60 months while the advertisement on the website said 1.9 for 60 months. Not much to argue when my wife and I both averaged 800+ credit score. After two trips to the manager we straighten things out. Next he tries to sell me on the Mazda 5 year service prepay plan. It sounded very interesting and I wanted to know more. After some deliberation with the wife, we decided not to get the plan. After we told him that we didn't want the plan, he seemed to talk down to us, asking why decided not to take the plan and why smart people would want to take the plan. Really?!?!?!? You're going to talk down to me and my wife because we didn't want to take the plan and extra $1500 up front cost? He went on and on about this product for another 10 minutes. Finally after the third time of telling him we didn't want the plan, we moved on. All-in-all, his demeanor changed after we stated we did not accept the plan. It was very unprofessional of him to act the way he did after that, but we finally finalized the paperwork. All of the markdowns are mainly because of the Finance Manager, but if I omit him from the experience, it would have been one of the best car buying experiences yet. More

2014 MAZDA CPO PURCHASE I was originally looking to purchase either a new Mazda 3 hatchback I-touring or a Mazda 6 sport. After some very friendly assistance from Rachel, I decided on a new Mazda 6 sport. Then, I saw a CPO 2014 Mazda i-touring with 7500 miles in the exact color I wanted. After some urging but no pressure, I decided to try to negotiate a deal for it. We were able to reach an agreement on the it and I couldn't be happier. More options and a really good price going with the CPO, I got everything I was looking for and little more going with a CPO. More
I love my new Mazda 3 Prior to purchasing my Mazda at Elk Grove Mazda, I had visited two other Northern Ca. Mazda dealerships and the experience at the previous dealerships Prior to purchasing my Mazda at Elk Grove Mazda, I had visited two other Northern Ca. Mazda dealerships and the experience at the previous dealerships was overwhelming and underwhelming at the same time. Overwhelming in terms of the chaotic process of trying to purchase a vehicle at their establishment, and underwhelming in terms of the lack of options I had with finding the car I really wanted. When I called Garrett after having these two disappointing experiences at the other Mazda dealerships, he was sympathetic to my situation and anxious to help me find the car I was hoping to buy. He located the car that I wanted and had it delivered to Elk Grove Mazda 48hrs later. (Something the other dealerships were incapable of doing). My overall experience was a very pleasant one and I would recommend Elk Grove Mazda to friends and family. Steven was also very kind, agreeable and non-pushy during the finance portion of the purchase. (which I feel can be rare in the car selling industry) Thank you Garrett and Steven for helping me (a person who has to be careful with every dollar spent and make good financial decisions) find the car that I feel will keep me driving securely and happily down the road for many years to come. Bought a 2014 Mazda6 Originally I came to Mazda of Elk Grove as a result of the CarPro Show. After researching a number of cars, I decided that the Mazda6 was one of the Originally I came to Mazda of Elk Grove as a result of the CarPro Show. After researching a number of cars, I decided that the Mazda6 was one of the cars that appeared would best fit the needs of my family. When I arrived at Mazda of Elk Grove I was introduced to Garrett Oxnaes, who did a great job of making me feel comfortable right away. He took the time to explain that they do business differently at Mazda of Elk Grove and that I should expect a different experience than I would at other dealerships. Having bought a number of cars in the past, I know it can be an unpleasant experience filled with pressure. Buying a car should not be a miserable experience though. I hate the games and tactics that most dealerships use, but I never experienced anything like that with Garrett. He did a very thorough job and was patient. I didn't buy the first day and was presently surprised that I didn't get any sales pressure as I prepared to leave the lot. Everything went pretty much according to the business model that Garrett had laid out for me at our first meeting. Though we had originally planned on buying a new vehicle, Garrett pointed out a couple of certified pre-owned Mazda6's with very low mileage that had all of the options we were looking for, and ultimately we purchased one of them. We got a very good deal on the car we wanted and Garrett went the extra mile to make sure the process went smoothly and comfortably. This is definitely the way to buy a car. I would definitley recommend Mazda of Elk Grove as well the adjacent Infiniti, and Nissan dealerships as they are under the same ownership and are operated the same way. If you want a Mazda though, go see Garrett - you will be pleasantly surprised. More

Was a rough start but in the end the job got done!! With my first experience at Mazda was horrible! I had help from Natalie and Anthony! I feel like I wasted my time to accomplish nothing on April 2! Then to be told to come back the next day and I would be able to get a car! I came back the next day to find out that Natalie was not working and what I was told before was not done by Anthony! So I met with Grant , Ratish and Rachel. They all had to fixed what was messed up by Natalie and Anthony! I mean I can sit here all day and talk about my bad service at first but I do not want to discredit my out standing service I got from Grant,Ratish and Rachel that team right there made it all happen. From Grant ensuring my loan. To Ratish always making sure I was doing alright lightening up the situation. But then to Rachel who was working hard to find me the right car. And to Tommy who made the finance and paperwork process smooth. I think if I would have met them the day before I would have left that day with a car then the hassle I was put through! It all worked out with there amazing service! I would like to thank Grant,Ratish and Rachel once again for the well done amazing service! More
