Mazda City of Orange Park and Ken Baxley are AWESOME! First of all, I would like to say that my experience at Mazda City exceeded my expectations. When I first pulled up to the dealership I was expecting First of all, I would like to say that my experience at Mazda City exceeded my expectations. When I first pulled up to the dealership I was expecting the typical, pushy, money craving car salesman to come out. Thankfully, I was totally wrong with my prediction. Not only was Ken a great salesman from the moment I met him but he was a great man on top of that. I could instantly tell he was different than the typical sales representative because he really wanted to get to know me as a person. Again, he wasn’t pushy and was straight forward with the pricing throughout the entire process. For the majority of the time we just talked about some of the things we had in common during my test drive. With that said, it was easy to notice that Ken is a man of great faith with an amazing spirit. In fact, I was so impressed with Ken, I brought my entire family (my wife, mother and father) back to Mazda City the next weekend after I test drove a 2016 Mazda 6 (amazing car) to meet him. Of course, they instantly felt the same connection I did after they met him. Furthermore, just when I thought my experience couldn’t get any better, I had an equally pleasant experience with the financial portion of the car buying process. Just like Ken, Stephen Devito didn’t hide anything and was straight forward with all of the pricing. He was also a fun loving guy who made that portion of the process easy. In summary, words cannot express how much I enjoyed the car buying process at Mazda City. From start to finish, the experience was the best I’ve ever had! Ken truly cares about his customers and all of the positive reviews on multiple sites are telling the truth about him. The same goes for the rest of the Mazda City family. I highly recommend purchasing a car from them and I personally look forward to working with Mazda City in the future! More

She just recently solved a very technical problem we were experiencing on our new "6"! Tim and her teamed up to solve our tech problem. It was not easy and she went to great lengths to solve this problem. She is a delight to talk to and is VERY dedicated. I sincerely hope the manager and owners of this fine dealership appreciate her as much as we do! More
ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE In my opinion.... We attended the 2015 Auto Show in Jacksonville on Saturday, February 7th. While there we saw a 2015 Grand Touring Mazda 3. We expl In my opinion.... We attended the 2015 Auto Show in Jacksonville on Saturday, February 7th. While there we saw a 2015 Grand Touring Mazda 3. We explained to the Mazda Rep at the show what we had for a trade in and what we were looking for as far as payments go. He said the Grand Touring might not work with our payments but he was sure the 2015 Touring model would. He recommended we go to the Mazda dealer and see what they could work out. We went from the show to Mazda City of Orange Park. Our salesman was Chad Mixon. After we discussed which car we were interested in, he had the appraiser take a look at our trade in. I explained to Chad that we had print outs from two local VW dealers for the selling price for a Certified Vehicle, which ours would have been (only 13,600 miles on a 2012 VW 2.5 SE Jetta), where the selling price was listed at $16k. The appraiser came in with a 10k offer on our car. Because of the difference in what I thought the car was worth and what they were offering, there was no way we could afford the payments that the new car would require for us to purchase this car. When I informed Chad of this, he got up, said "fine" and stormed out of the room. He then went to the front of the showroom with other sales man and left us sitting in the room. We decided he wasn't going to return, so we got up to leave. As we were walking back to our car, we passed Chad in the front lobby where he was actually tearing up the paperwork he was working on with us in front of both the other salesman, but my family as well. We couldn't hear what he was saying to them, but it was obvious from the looks on their faces that it wasn't very nice. I informed him as we walked past him that this wasn't personal. He said "oh it's not," and he turned back around again. This unprofessional behavior really caught us off guard. Another thing we thought was odd, we are currently in a lease with the VW, but for some reason Chad never discussed the possibility of another lease, which might have made the payments more reasonable for us and maybe sealed the deal. Needless to say, Mazda City of Orange Park won't be on our car shopping list again. More

Their cost is reasonable and they run maintenance specials with coupons available on their web site. I will continue to use Mazda City for all future maintenance and highly recommend them as an excellent Mazda maintenance shop. More

Mazda City gives you your first oil change completely free (with synthetic oil). Appt. was made within 3 days of calling for appt., and was available on a Saturday, which is unheard of these days. Natascha McElgun and Kristie Roderich are the Service Team working with the customers. Kristie is the Service Manager. Kristie is a breath of fresh air, and a doer!! She is empathetic, and you get the feeling immediately that things will be taken care of to your fullest satisfaction. And, friendly and a good listener. Natascha was also so pleasant when speaking on the phone with her to make the appt. After the oil change, the car was washed and the carpets were vacuumed, too. I definitely would recommend Mazda City. We live in St. Augustine, but there are no Mazda dealerships here, and they earned my business by being able to get me the particular car I wanted, thanks to Chris Ashby. Also, Steven DeVito in Finance is also a very honest man and recommended Auto Butler to preserve the car's finish; and it is excellent and will not break the bank. And, lastly, I am getting a few accessories so visited the parts department and had a wonderful experience with Khris Schock who placed an order for my needs; and gave me a free Mazda hat for my business!! Lemon Truck I bought a 2005 Ford F-350 6.0L from the dealership about a month ago. It was a great deal and they worked hard to get it approved, but about two week I bought a 2005 Ford F-350 6.0L from the dealership about a month ago. It was a great deal and they worked hard to get it approved, but about two weeks later I noticed oil in my coolant (classic sign of a bad oil cooler that causes head gasket failure). I took the truck back to the dealership where they assured me that his mechanics had checked everything. I left the truck with them for the day to have them "re-check" the truck. I called them up the next morning to check up on it, and find out if they had discovered the issue. I was told by the mechanic on duty that they were not equipped to do the testing on my truck and that it was sent to the Ford dealership down the road. So I drove down to the Ford dealer and they didn't know anything about my truck. I drove back to Mazda City and was told by the General Manager, Kenny, that he had sent it to a mechanic that he sent diesels to that his mechanic didn't know about. So not only did I not authorize them to send my truck off to a different place, they had sent it to some location that I hadn't ever heard of that wasn't even a Ford shop. After 7 days of the truck being in the shop I finally got a call back saying that the truck was back. When I picked the truck up I found that they had replaced the oil cooler, the FICM (fuel injection control module) which I had never had an issue with and replaced the thermostat and flushed the radiator. I was suprised that they had not replaced the faulty head gasket (Confirmed by the Ford Dealership I immediately took the truck too). When I left with the truck the power was SIGNIFICANTLY decreased (causing me to almost get hit by traffic that I was turning into). Truck felt laggy and sick to the point that it was unsafe to drive on a busy street. I dropped it off at the Ford dealer to have more tests run and should hear back on how much their neglegence cost me. I suggest avoiding this dealership like the plague. They sold me a crappy truck and then tried to send me to a shady mechanic to have insufficient work done. More
