I drove roughly six hours to purchase a vehicle, sales people were pleasant and professional. For financing I was set up with one of their newer financial employees, on three separate occasions they made people were pleasant and professional. For financing I was set up with one of their newer financial employees, on three separate occasions they made copies of my license and had to redo the paperwork twice due to incorrect information. During the sale I was told that the key for the locking lug nuts will be provided after I purchase the car. Once the vehicle was finally purchased we got it and drove it home all of the checks for a certificates used vehicle were preformed yet somehow there was water leaking over the passenger floor and the blower motor would only work on high after ten minutes down the road. Then when arrived at home in the following days I was notified that the financial advisor had been changed and that the original advisor only copied one side of my license so I needed to send more missing information in. Every single time I called the sales or service department to try to get info or to send them the information that they requested I was immediately sent to voice mail and never received return call, only after multiple consecutive calls did I reach an employee and only after I asked to speak to the manager did I receive ANY information. I also ended up with a flat tire so I went to change it however I could not because they had not given me the key for the locking lug nuts. When I asked the only person I could get through to at the dealership I was told “bought as is” which is not what was said originally. Luckily corporate Hyundai rectified this as a certified warranty should have been covered. Now I am receiving multiple messages about a service that they think I scheduled in which I did not. It was a pleasure dealing with the staff at Maxon Hyundai in Union, NJ. Our sales person was Kamille Gutierrez. She was superb in the full range of the service provided to us (me and my wife). Attentive to our questions, comprehensive in her answers, and thorough in explaining the nuances of the vehicle in question, the 2025 Hyundai Tucson Limited Hybrid. There was no hard sell at any point. The sleek look and feel of the showroom was also a cut above its competitors. It was an outstanding customer experience! More

The “sales manager” eventually entered the conversation and was rude as well. He even said “we don’t sell APRs, we sell cars.” The best part of this experience is when I walked out of the dealership, they chased me out the door to tell me my APR was 8.49%. So they knew the APR the whole time but thought I was an inexperienced consumer. If you are looking for a transparent dealership then this is not the company for you. If you are desperate for a car and don’t mind blindly paying any price then go spend your money. More

Got a call later in afternoon by service manager, who initially told me car would not be ready until following Tuesday. Obviously I was upset , and was told car would be ready today Saturday efore LABOR DAY. I CALLED THE DEALERSHIP, INITIALLY WAS HANG UP. CALLED BACK WAS TOLD ME A “ Rudy ( I think) would call back right away. It has been over 10 min. I think it is relevant to say that been a physician that works in Hospitals, I can NOT BE UNAVAILABLE FOR 5 days , just in case. Have been waiting for the call over 15. Minutes. Nothing. I will never go back again. Maxon advertised a very good price on a used EV car for which I had been looking; the price was low enough that I would qualify for the “clean vehicle credit” of $3,750. I confirmed the car was available and made an appointment for a test drive. The car definitely needed to be cleaned, but the salesman said that could be done while we waited, and it drove well, so I said I would take it. That’s when the problems began; the salesman quoted a price that was more than $9,000 over the advertised price! When I said that’s nothing like the advertised price, he tried to say that the advertised price doesn’t include $4000 for conditioning (which, remember, could be done while we waited), and that we weren’t eligible for 2 discounts (which were not mentioned in the advertisement.) It was clear to me that they had no intention of selling for anything like the advertised price. As if that wasn’t bad enough, during the discussion I pointed out that the price they were quoting was too high to get the “clean vehicle credit”, so they were asking me to pay not just $9,000 more, but almost $13,000 more on a net basis! When I brought this up they claimed to have never heard of the “clean vehicle credit”! Are these people really in the business of selling cars but they haven’t heard of the clean vehicle credit? Do they think car buyers are that stupid? More

Once we arrived Saad showed us the car we went for a ride check oil light was on and brakes went to the floor we were told the car was serviced...obvious lie....and didn't honor the online price actual price was 27500. Be aware ! Read reviews. I do believe this place was reputable a few years ago. Sleazy scammers. You give Salespeople a bad name. More
