Many things good; a few disappointing I recently leased a CX5 at Maxon Hyundai-Mazda. Our salesperson, Rico, was very accommodating, given out time restraints. During the time we were there, he kept going back and forth to his supervisor, we assume. When he came back, he was able to give us price. However, the comparison between the CX5 Touring and the CX5 Grand Touring was never completely explained; he told us that the Grand Touring had lane change alerts and was all leatherette while the Touring had neither. He did not tell us, however, that the Touring does not have an electronic button on the fob while the Grand Touring does. While I am not sure this difference would have encouraged me to step up to the Grand Touring, the lack of that button on the fob is disappointing. I had it on my 11 year old Honda Civic. I am not sure what other features of the Grand Touring I am missing since we never went over all the differences. This is a disappointment. We were also surprised that we got a note from our insurance company that we needed to do a photo inspection for a new car. They needed a copy of the window sticker (which we were not given) or the list of all the car features (which we also were not given). Apparently, the car dealerships usually take care of this. When I called Rico, he did take care of it right away for us but we should not have had to ask. In fairness to Rico, I know that we had some time issues when we came in to discuss trading in the old lease car for the new one--and he did accommodate our needs--but I wish he had detailed for us the differences between the Grand Touring and Touring versions of the car. I suppose I should have asked and I will be aware the next time I go to lease a car that I need to do this. But this should not be the customer's responsibility. More
