Although it cost me nearly $3000, the service rep was very good at explaining what had to be done vs what could wait. Also advised what future work would be covered by the extended warranty. very good at explaining what had to be done vs what could wait. I have multiple Nissans that I have taken to this dealership. The service team tries to help and communicates well, but I find that their practices are very different from North Atlanta, GA and Athe dealership. The service team tries to help and communicates well, but I find that their practices are very different from North Atlanta, GA and Athens, GA dealers. This Nissan location has almost every recommended service listed as a bright red (Must do) service - some of which are for things that may not be truly needed. In addition, there are numerous services that should be standard (i.e. topping off engine coolant) that is strictly forbidden from this Nissan dealer's management. They add windshield washer fluid, but tell me they can do no other fluids. I don't understand why, but this leads to "Red" service needs to flush the full coolant system vs. just topping off the fluids like my GA Nissan dealerships did. This is very poor business practice and unfortunately has me leaning towards not getting another Nissan to avoid this type of business practice in the service department. I have seen the same approach on a Nissan that was <4 years old and one that is >9 years old. Note that I have owned Nissans as my primary vehicle for 20+ years. More
