When I decided to trade in my gas guzzler for a more fuel efficient vehicle I did my research online before I visited dealerships. After a few bad experiences I was almost ready to give up when I visited the Ferman Nissan on Florida avenue. I was greeted there by Cleo Coney who took down my requirements and set out to look for cars in my price range and within my requirements. He kept his good humour and enthusiasm even after we had seen several cars. He went over the features of each vehicle patiently and never tried to force a sale. When we had finally narrowed the choices to my 2 favorites he introduced me to Jeff Vicente. Jeff was also very nice and set the right expectation and explained the approval process. He reviewed the possible payment options and what I was willing to spend and what could get approved by the banks. However he also made sure he knew what my preference was. He quickly gave me the news that I could get the car that I wanted. It was time to discuss hard numbers and I was sure that the jovial tone that Cleo and Jeff had kept was going to change. I was wrong! my experience -so far wonderful was only getting better. I had the extreme pleasure of dealing with Don bitke. I was very impressed by the fact that he remained happy the whole time and kept a subject like expenses funny yet professional. He again avoided the sales pitch but he provided such detailed information that I ended up taking the gap insurance, warranty and maintenance plan all within my budget. What an experience!!! Had another tremendous service experience earlier today. They are courteous and thorough in explaining what is going on with your vehicle. I want to also mention that Service Manager Eric Green is always accessible when I have questions about my service needs and routine maintenance. Recently, I was in Ferman Nissan getting my oil changed in my vehicle. I had occasion on this visit, and in the past, to become acquainted with Bob Cole, a veteran salesperson at Ferman Nissan of Tampa Bay in my vehicle. I had occasion on this visit, and in the past, to become acquainted with Bob Cole, a veteran salesperson at Ferman Nissan of Tampa Bay. Bob Cole is an extremely kind and considerate salesperson. He is well informed and knowledgable, especially regarding the Nissan Leaf which is the vehicle I am interested in learning about. Bob Cole is the type of salesperson who answers questions thoroughly, is the opposite of "high pressure" and also takes time to assist in any way possible. He is a breath of fresh air. As I have spent time speaking with Bob Cole in his office on more than one occasion, I have always had the impression that Bob is concerned with me personally and that he really cares about me as an individual, not just making a sale. Ferman Nissan is a better place because of staff like Bob Cole and I appreciate his way of doing business.
