HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH THE FINANCE DEPARTMENT! They tell us the car is ours and this and that at night and take our money and tell us to get insurance for a car that’s NOT ours! I have purchased a used Nissan Murano, 2017 vehicle from Maus Nissan The vehicle was in very good shape with exception of a small paint defect which Maus sales management gladly was going to repair. The entire sale staff welcomed me, as they put it “to the Maus family”. This great experience came to a abrupt end when I brought the vehicle to Maus service for the paint chip to be repaired. The service manager told me that this repair will not be cheap it will cost between $300 -$500, and since the order was closed Maus can not do the repair. This doesn’t appear to me as a honest place to do business with especially when I see Maus advertising and saying that they will not lose the customer over price, well, they lost this customer over lot less than price. Just recently I found a message on my phone from Maus telling me they would give me a great deal on a trade in. Really? Does anybody at Maus think that I would ever do business with them or any other Maus dealerships? Not in this lifetime. More

This is the second vehicle that I have purchased from Maus Nissan in New Port Richey. Overall I think I got a fair deal. On the plus side, their staff is very friendly and very helpful. I purchased my tr Maus Nissan in New Port Richey. Overall I think I got a fair deal. On the plus side, their staff is very friendly and very helpful. I purchased my truck during the coronavirus pandemic and was able to work the deal from my house which I greatly appreciated. On the downside, some things I've been told while I was there buying a vehicle we're not necessarily true. For example, a really nice first aid kit and another road assistance type kit are part of the truck package but some of the people there pass those items off more as gifts from the dealership for us purchasing the vehicle. In reality, they were actually part of a $390 package that came with the truck. We actually bought them! And then I didn't realize it until after I bought the truck but it actually had over 240 miles on it when I bought it. Had I noticed that during the deal I most assuredly would have questioned it. Why does a brand-spanking-new truck have over 200 miles on it? and apparently some guy named Brad had his phone connected to it as well. That's entirely my fault for not noticing prior to purchasing but still it makes me question who the xxxx was driving this truck all that time. Also, trying to get somebody to communicate with you through their website was a colossal pain. Overall I would recommend Maus Nissan for the purchase of a new vehicle. Like I said I think I got a fair deal on all my vehicles I've gotten from them. Just scrutinize what they tell you and if you're buying a new vehicle from them, check it carefully! More
