There were more people that we worked with while at Massey that are not listed to choose from on this website. Our dealings with Scott were never a problem. The man who does the financial stuff (warranty, road side, etc), that part took TOO long and made the experience stressful, though he was pleasant and professional. During our initial visit (in February or March) to Massey (when we wanted to test drive the Tuscon and the Santa Fe in order to decide which one we were going to purchase), there was a salesperson there that was new and from Baltimore. He was very nice, but could answer NONE of our questions comparing the 2 vehicles (hopefully he has learned some things since that time). [We had a VERY bad experience during our "research" about Hyundai vehicles with Pohanka Hyundai sales person and sales manager. I would NOT recommend Pohanka.] When we came to Massey and spoke of the experience of lies, pressure and general "swarminess' from staff at Pohanka, they were appropriately horrified and we were treated respectfully and truthfully at Massey. Our only other disappointment with our Massey experience was #1 finding a razor blade in the back seat of the Tuscon when we went to install the baby seat and #2 being under the impression we were getting a cargo cover AND cargo net as part of the purchase/package, but finding only a cargo net. It was too late in the evening to bring up this, so we just chalked it off to our misunderstanding and left. More

Fantastic Service, very helpful and infomative. Always asked if there was anything I needed during the visit. First time that I've driven off the lot the same day with a New Vehicle. I visited the dealership one Saturday. Robert Wiesman asked if he could answer any questions. I had many and he had answers for all of them. I was interested in a 2013 Elantra Limited and he covered it asked if he could answer any questions. I had many and he had answers for all of them. I was interested in a 2013 Elantra Limited and he covered it with me from front to back and tires to moonroof. The following Monday I called him for a test drive and met him about an hour later in the rain. While I drove a route I selected, he continued to describe and demonstrate the features in the car. Back at the dealership we discussed price. The Massey price with Massey’s military discount was better than the market prices I’d researched. Additionally, I ordered dealer-installed accessories. Once we reached an agreement, he started the paperwork. He introduced me people I would see to complete the transaction and to those who would be involved in caring for and maintaining my car in the future. Each told me what services they could provide and the benefits I could receive. I left the dealership with all of the documentation for the car which would allow me to start reading before I took delivery. I was not available to pick up the car until Wednesday. Wednesday, the car was waiting and ready to be driven off. I met Robert. In the car he synced my phone and showed me how to set up the navigation system. With a handshake, I drove away in my new car. Although I have had a very positive experience with your service department since moving to Hagerstown eight years ago (2001 Hyundai Sonata, recently traded), this is my first experience with your sales dep service department since moving to Hagerstown eight years ago (2001 Hyundai Sonata, recently traded), this is my first experience with your sales department. Actually, it was a new car for my son (Hyundai Elantra)...my role was simply to accompany him after I encouraged him highly to consider a Hyundai product over what he was considering...a Mazda 3. Our experience from beginning to end with sales rep Mike Middledorf was a very satisfying experience. Even to the last detail of instructing my son (and doing the work himself) on connecting his phone to Bluetooth. I look forward myself to a near term purchase of a new Hyundai (possibly, but not prudently probable, a new Equs (? spelling)...if you ever get the opportunity to have one. I am 66 years old and have purchased many new cars over the years. The experience we encountered at Massey Hyundai working with Doug Potter was by far the best car buying experience I have ever had. His friendliness, courtesy and professionalism was far above what I normally encounter. Almost two years ago, we purchased a Hyundai Accent from Doug for one of our son's and we truly enjoyed the experience. Unfortunately the car was totalled when it was broadsided by a van that failed to stop at a stop sign. We were thoroughly impressed that the Accent was hit broadside, pushed over 80 feet across three lanes and our son walked away without a scratch. That resulted in us purchasing a second Hyundai. Due to our son living on campus at college, we purchased the second Accent at a different dealer closer to his college. The experience at the other dealer was good but didn't compare to the experience at Massey through Doug Potter. Another son started driving so we made a trip to Massey Hyundai for two reasons, the quality and price of a Hyundai, and more importantly the expected service we would receive at the dealership. We were fortunate enough to be greeted by Doug Potter once again. He was the perfect match for a wonderful car buying experience. We entered expecting to purchase an Elantra or Sonata but actually purchased a Genesis Coupe. The time we spent at the dealership was great once again. Doug dedicated his time and attention to us and made us feel special. The Massey dealership is fortunate to have such a wonderful sales person on their staff. He took the time to answer questions and addressed all of our concerns in a friendly but professional manner. After purchasing the car I returned a couple days later to have an accessory installed. The members of the service department greeted me like I was family. They accomodated my every request and the service was performed at my convienience. They made sure I was fully satisfied with the service and assured me they will always be there for me. You can bet this is where I will purchase my next car as well. More
