I have purchased four Hyundais from Massey since 2008, the most recent this past week. I have dealt with Doug Potter each time. He's my Hyundai go-to salesperson. He is easy going, absolutely professional and knowledgeable about the vehicles they sell at Massey, and is not pushy in the least. As a customer, I always felt that he treated me with respect and actually cared about making the buying process stress free! He didn't talk a mile a minute or nonstop, truly listening to my concerns and wants. I couldn't be happier with the outcome as I am now driving my Volcanic Red 2013 Elantra GT!!! I feel like a teenager again, and I love it! The best part is that I know that if I have any questions about the car, I can call Doug and he will answer them for me. Everyone at the dealership is friendly, which also is refreshing. From sales to service, it's a topnotch business. That's what keeps me coming back! RUN AWAY! I purchased a 2008 Jeep Compass from Massey on Friday, October 26,2012. On the way to work the following day, something happened inside the transmission that caused major damage. After the sun was up, I looked at what I could, and called ERIC HOPKINS, my salesman; who told me to bring it back to be checked over. I drove the vehicle back into the dealership and dropped it off on Saturday, October 27. LESS THAN 24 hours after purchase. After numerous phone calls, I was informed that they WOULD NOT WARRANTY vehicle, stating I was doing burnouts or something and ruined the transmission ( Matt Wetzell). Trying to use the chain of command at the dealership, I was informed by the owner FAITH MASSEY, that they indeed WOULD NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR WARRANTY, and to get that vehicle off the lot. In doing further research, I have been informed that they are notorious for doing things such as this to consumers. More
At this point I am very disappointed with the service I have received at this dealership. Eric and josh were great however, the situation is terrible. I was 'approved' on a 2005 ford Explorer limited through Prestige, however, two weeks later I had to bring the vehicle back because the deal was not approved. i am currently working with your dealership to regain that same vehicle under another finance company, Drive, and it is taking an unbeleivable amount of time. If I was not approved initially, why was I given the vehicle? I think it is poor business practice and the only ones suffering is me and my family. I am hopeful that something can be done with the deal with Drive today, October 25th, however if is is not, I will have to take my business elsewhere. I realize I am a high risk type of customer, however it does not mean I am a bad person, just experienced some bad times. I am extremely disappointed in this banking system, albeit not Massey's fault. I would suggest that some kind of inhouse financing should be available for an organization of your stature and success...not suggesting a buy here/pay here, just a financial arm for situations like this so you do not lose business, regain customer satisfaction and loyalty and customers go home happy and feel as if a company actually cares about them. I work right down the road from this dealership so my choice to go here was a natural one. Eric Hopkins was my sales rep and he was always very informative and helpful and never made me feel pressured to purchase the vehicle before I was absolutely ready. Everyone at the dealership greeted me with a smile and made sure I was taken care of every step of the way. I would definitely recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a new Hyundai. More
After owning my previous compact car for seven years and finding it more and more difficult to climb in and out of it, I started my car search on line and saw a number of available prospects at the Massey H finding it more and more difficult to climb in and out of it, I started my car search on line and saw a number of available prospects at the Massey Hyundai Dealer and stopped in to actually see the vehicles. The Hyundai 10 years -100,000 mile warranty as well as the higher mpg vehicles lured me towards considering a Hyundai vehicle. Driving through the car lot and looking at some of the vehicles, I narrowed it down to an SUV like the Tucson, it wasn't too small and wasn't too big. When I came to test-drive the Tucson, Thomas Radley assisted me and was very friendly, accommodating, and patient. He was never pushy and always very respectful of my wishes. He gave me plenty of time to test drive the vehicle, demonstrating the vehicles capabilities such as the manual shifting, never dictating where I had to drive or when I had to come back. He allowed me to leisurely test the Tucson’s performance on both highway and back roads. (He did not make me nervous.) Thomas and the Finance team at Massey Hyundai offered me a deal I couldn't turn down for a 2009 pre-owned Certified Tucson with payments below what I had anticipated paying, with the best interest rate of 2.99%, and allowing me a good price for my 2002 trade-in. Once we reached this agreement, Thomas started the paperwork and then introduced me to the Service and Parts people who would be involved in caring for and maintaining my car in the future. Each told me what services they could provide and the benefits I could receive. They were all very friendly. I look forward to future dealings with Massey services. Then it was time to finish up on the financing with Sam Galloway. He was a pleasure to work with. He explained Hyundai’s additional services and products that were available for purchase. Again, much respect was shown me and I did not feel like I was being coerced into purchasing extra services I did not want. Thomas really went all out to place me in the vehicle that I wanted and made my buying experience less stressful and a happy one. After only 2 days, I’m really enjoying the comfort and driving experience of my Tucson. Thank you Massey Hyundai. Thank you Thomas. More
