Was working with different branch people, I was told I was approved for the car which I was looking for and test drove. When I went to pick up the car, the car was a totally different car and not the one which I picked or drove. I was so disappointed and dropped of thought of pursuing Maserati but when I approached these people at Arlington... it was totally a great feeling n experience and made it possible. Thank you guys. Disappointed with condition at delivery. I mailed a certified check and filled out all the necessary paperwork needed. The salesman ( Mr. Silver) said the car was in great shape and I’d be very satisfied.I arranged for the shipment and received it as planed. As soon as I started the car I saw notices on the screen that the auxiliary battery was malfunctioning as well a the tire pressure was very low. The inside of the windshield was very dirty. So much for a great cleanup. Also, only one key was provided but salesman provided a second key to have programmed. Mercedes does not accacpt other keys for programming , so I have to spend another $275 so I don’t lock myself out. Then I look behind the drivers seat and find a strip of window molding that belongs around the small rear window on the left side. I wouldn’t expect this kind of delivery from a small wholesale lot ,much less a dealer of high dollar cars. Very very disappointed. More

Although the con is the financial dept. and salesman arrange financing in the background without letting the customer know what going on before proceeding with paperwork, which I found disturbing. Overall a company name is as good as its people who runs it. More

The Sales person Lavelle, who btw is personable and knowledgeable, had followed up with me for several months. We had finalised a price on the car we liked and had an agreement. Nimi, their finance person who is also wonderful, had me sign forms and ran my credit history. Their manager Robert had blessed an agreed price earlier (proof is with Lavelle who agrees that they had committed to a price), but changed it at the last minute. He thought I would not back out. I walked out disappointed. The money was not too different. But it was the principle. Beware of this dealer. He cannot be trusted More

Below is a timeline of my e I bought a 2013 Porsche Cayenne Turbo at the end of October for $64,000. Right from the start, it was a poor experience. Below is a timeline of my experience. I expect an experience like this from Bob’s Used Auto Sales but not from a Maserati dealer that sells six figure cars. I had much better service at Honda, Nissan, Toyota, and Lexus. 1. I live 3 hours away. I knew the car I wanted but wasn’t able to make it to the dealership for a week. I contacted the dealership. Omar responded back. I let him know I planned on coming in the following Tuesday but I would call on Monday to make sure it was still available. I called Monday and left a message. I got a call back an hour later saying the owner had been driving the car and he could have it ready to show Thursday. At this point I had a train ticket booked for Tuesday because that’s the only day I could get there. They eventually scrambled to get it there. 2. The morning of my visit, I am at the train station and I get a call from Omar. This car was in their inventory for more than 6 months. All of a sudden, there is someone who wants to come in that day to buy the car. This is a cheap tactic used with these low end auction buying car dealerships. 3. When I first emailed I asked what the absolute best price would be because I didn’t want to waste my time or their time. Omar told me they would work with me. When I arrived to look at the car, they told me they can’t come off the price at all because they are “already losing money on the car.” The manger Robert told me the car had new tires put on because “it wouldn’t be right to sell me a car with the tires that were on it when he got it.” Robert then said “Do you know what it cost me to put new tires on the car?’ I guessed $1600. He said “No, try $2200.” 4. The car was listed to have 31K miles on it and when I got there it had an additional 4K because the owner was driving it for several months. 5. Now I was at the dealership about an hour before I even saw or sat in the car. They had me signing papers that I saw the carfax and talk to the finance people and talked about warranties, tags, and insurance. Had I sat in the car and it had a smoke smell, it would have a huge waste of time. 6. Finally I take the car for a test drive. It is an awesome car. It drove well and seemed in good condition. I wanted to buy it right away though I had a very uneasy feeling about the dealership as a whole from all the points listed above. I waffled for a while but finally decided to buy it at the list price. 7. After buying the car I got about 15 minutes down the road and realized I had less than quarter tank of gas. I emailed Omar the next day stating my disappointment with that and the response was we're only required to have a quarter tank on the sale of a used car. Again these are details that I would expect from a high end dealer. I've bought used cars from Nissan and Honda that were delivered with a full tank of gas. 8. The final issue which to me is the most annoying. A month after getting the car was the first day I had the car out in the rain. I was literally sliding off the highway, not able to exceed a speed of 40 miles an hour. When I got to pull over, I saw that my back two tires were completely bald. I contacted the dealer who told me I bought the car as is and I was there all day so I should have noticed. They then said we changed only the front two (btw who does that). Not only did they lie to me but I also I felt like the car was very unsafe. After everything was said and done, I had to replace the tires on my own because I don't have a choice. 9. Overall I was very frustrated with this dealership. Had I not loved the car I would have walked out. I contact Robert by phone (after getting the run around for 2 days) and was told it was my problem, I bought it “as is.” Which is not true because I have both a factory warranty as well as an extended warranty. Please stay away from this dealership. More

The purchase process extended over two visits and was very far from pleasant because of the amount of time it took and the lack of customer service and professionalism. My sales representative, Andrew Gyamera, was professional and able to handle everything under his scope. However, I found it odd that he did not complete the sale of the vehicle by handing me the keys and reviewing the specifications and instruments in the vehicle the day the sale was completed and I was able to pick up the car. Andrew did, however, follow up with a nice email. Our finance manager, Brandon Morton, who, I hear, is no longer with the company, spent a lot of time searching for finance options and ultimately completed the paperwork for me. Throughout of the sale of this vehicle, Rob Arcuri, the manager of the location, could not seem to find the time to introduce himself to me. He did introduce himself on the last day as I was departing. To add insult to injury, another sales person who was not part of the sales process, threatened me by exclaiming how extremely lucky I was that he had not sold the car from under me to another buyer while I was waiting for my paperwork to finalize. However, this has not been the case and to my disdain and frustration, this abysmal experience with Maserati of Arlington VA lingers on because of their inability to complete the registration process as was agreed. Maserati of Arlington VA ensured me that they had their own third party within the company which could complete the out of state registration process. I believed them and signed the purchase agreement which included charges for registration. I provided my attorney’s information to Maserati of Arlington VA in order to obtain the information they needed to complete the registration. My purchase contract included a registration fees in the amount of $263. Over a month later (and several follow up phone calls/status updates with Maserati of Arlington VA), my registration is finally complete, however, I have now learned that Maserati of Arlington VA used my attorney’s time, without my permission, in order to complete the registration. In addition—my lawyer incurred a $268 cost to register the vehicle which I have paid out of pocket immediately. The cost of the registration and the time should be paid through Maserati of Arlington VA since the purchase contract included $263 for registration and my lawyers time was used without my consent. Maserati of Arlington VA refuses to compensate me for the hourly charge. I find this deplorable, especially since I was ensured that Maserati of Arlington VA’s fees covered the third party who could handle the process. I requested the amount charged by my lawyer’s time ($150) to be refunded, but was declined. I have learned that Tina Pho, the person that handles the tags and titling for Maserati of Arlington VA, has requested a refund for the amount I paid in my purchase contract for registration. However, I am unsure to whom the refund was requested or if and when it will be processed. The lack of transparency for the refund is adding a layer of frustration. The $150 for my lawyer’s time is still unaddressed. Prior to my visit with Maserati of Arlington VA, I was warned by several acquaintances to not engage in any business transactions with this dealership because of the known issues with the level of service. Now that I have had this experience as well, I understand and will strongly advocate to anyone to avoid engaging in any business transactions with Maserati of Arlington VA. It has been a week and I do not hear from Maserati of Arlington VA unless I call them and ask for an update. More
