New GM said he would contact me next day and nothing. I have a warranty on the used car I purchased (cash) and will not honor it, saying I have to pay half for repair. Contacted BBB and Attorney general, now heading to lawyer. Unless you want a hassle and legal issues, stay clear. Son had to drop out of college due to lack of transportation. Can't purchase new car as money was used for this one. I asked several times for my money back and have been given the run around and told not possible. Could have been easy fix..now have to get lawyer. More

AWFUL, UNSCRUPULOUS DEALER. Bought a used BMW X2 from them that failed inspection because of obvious air bubbles in 2 tires. Also weatherstripping was off of car body and had deep gouges in door. Since I was having car delivered, and not seeing it in person, I begged chris K and Lavalle in Finance to tell me any imperfections beforehand. I was shocked at the condition of the car at delivery! Buying process horrible, hidden fees because I didn't finance through them, wouldn't honor car gurus pricing and shipping, and when I tried to get them to do the right thing they have ghosted me for 6 weeks! Ernesto the new GM wouldn't even return my call. BUYER BEWARE. UNTRUSTWORTHY. Wish I'd seen all the other awful reviews before I bought from them. AWFUL CUSTOMER TREATMENT . ... When I test drove the car the salesman lied to me saying the "low battery (warning) light" that came right on only referred to the KEY FOB (not ma ... When I test drove the car the salesman lied to me saying the "low battery (warning) light" that came right on only referred to the KEY FOB (not main car battery.) The car had to be brought back to their service department 4 times for this issue: they claim to have replaced the (main, CAR) battery TWICE & then when the error showed up again, their service dept manager told me to "go to the LAND ROVER dealer up in Eatontown, we can't figure this out." So I had to go there & pay them about $500 to fix & put in another Battery. Next, A WEEK after I drove car off their lot a "Brake Pads Worn" warning lite came on... Took back to service dept at this dealer, they waited a week to even tell me they were going to charge me $1616+ for a FULL BREAK JOB (4 pads AND 4 rotors,) when I said how this should've been addressed before they put car out on lot for sale Finance manager Lavelle (who I did 95% of the paperwork with just a week before this,) tried to tell me (with a straight face) "Brakes are considered a *cosmetic* issue (not a "safety" issue)" HA! Needless to say, the staff here treats customers with the utmost disrespect & even hostility. They don't provide loaner cars & it's nearly impossible to get thru their "faulty" phone system to even see if car is ready. After owning the car I bought here & it being in their Service Dept multiple times FOUR of the FIVE months I had it - I had to get rid of the car. The final insult was to find out Lavelle (the Finance Manager,) wrote up my $3505 extended service contract as "non cancelable" when i called the Contract provider to cancel. I am currently waiting for the extended Tyre contract 995 dollars to be refunded. I seriously regret ever walking into this dealership and have filed a case at Better Business Bureau over all this. They: - cashed a large check in my name without authorization -won't return phone calls -My only points of contact have either left or been fired. I have been told to due "doing things they aren't supposed to" (unethical financial dealings implied) or not wanting to be associated with the company. I'm convinced the only reason they have a good star rating is because they corner you at the time of sale and say they won't get paid if they don't get a review. All they care about is getting your signature on that contract. After that they give you the runaround. DARIEN, my last hope is that you read this review and I that hear from directly. I went to Maserati of Monmouth to get a used car with low mileage and good price and I was not disappointed. They had several models of the car I was interested in with different options and prices. Jose texted me in the morning to look for Frank Sorensen when I get there so he could let me test drive and handle my case. When I arrived, Frank wasn’t there receptionist said he is off today but someone else will take care of me. I don’t remember the name of saleswoman but said that car is sold 2days ago. I was panicked and had to return to my city with empty hands. They don’t know what they are doing and Very unprofessional and WORST BMW DEALER ever I have experienced. More
