Visited this dealer twice to buy an Alfa Romeo (1 visit too many). First visit, walk in no appt - greeted by receptionist who asked to put my name in a log book and someone would come get me from the waiti too many). First visit, walk in no appt - greeted by receptionist who asked to put my name in a log book and someone would come get me from the waiting area. 30 min go by and no greeting from any salesperson. I inquired why haven't I been greeted - receptionist called a man behind a glass office who said just 5 more min. I waited 10 more min and then left. Second time I visited, I pinpointed a car I wanted in their inventory. Called and spoke to Mohammed. Asked if the particular car (provided stock # from website) was in stock. He said yes. I requested an appointment for 12:45pm on my lunch break to see the car, asked to have it ready, test drive it and I'd call him in the afternoon to make a deal if I liked it. Mohamed agreed. Arrived at 12:48pm - receptionist again asked me to put my name in a log book and wait in the waiting area for him. 12 min later, I told the receptionist I had a 12:45 appointment to which she said Mohammed is on the phone with another client and I had to wait. At this point I am quite agitated and receptionist asked another salesperson to help me. I explain the situation to this salesperson about having the car ready, at this point I was short on time, wanted to view and test drive during my lunch. She walked me to the car, which was buried behind 3 other cars in their cramped parking lot, she could not get the key due to an issue with their key box not being able to be opened. I asked for a CarFax and she handed me an AutoCheck report that showed the car in question was in a minor accident yet needed to be towed. At this point, with the sour experience I told her I was no longer interested as they had wasted my lunch hour and left. This dealer as you approach it from the road has lots of inventory but seemingly either very selective or discriminating salespeople that have no regard for customers time. I am currently still in the market for an Alfa Romeo but when I do purchase elsewhere, my service business will also be going elsewhere despite this dealer being only 20 minutes from my home. More
Treated me well until I signed the papers It was fairly easy to buy a used car there. Nestor Martinez treated me well early in the process but when it came down to closing the deal, suddenly It was fairly easy to buy a used car there. Nestor Martinez treated me well early in the process but when it came down to closing the deal, suddenly the empty promises started showing up. First, Nestor promised to take some money off because he didn't have 2 keys but when he wrote up the deal, the $150 was still on the papers. I chalked it up to an honest mistake. He also promised that the dealer would fix a burn hole in the back seat and change out 2 worn out front tires the next day. Never happened. That was my mistake and should have known that once I signed the papers, he wasn't going to honor the deal. I called 2x and each time, Nestor didn't call me back. Then when I got a hold of him, he promised again that I'd get a call from service. It never came. This is Maserati but really, I've gotten better follow up service at Hyundai or Honda. 3 weeks later, I still don't have the hole in my seat fixed and I still have the same old tires. I buy 10 cars a year but this is not a dealer I will be going back to. More
