While researching pricing for the 2012 Dodge Journey online, I searched the websites of both our local dealer as well as the dealers in Salina (about an hour and a half away) and Wichita (about 2.5 hour online, I searched the websites of both our local dealer as well as the dealers in Salina (about an hour and a half away) and Wichita (about 2.5 hours away). I also visited our local dealer who did not want to discuss price discounts without first running my credit through their financing companies. When I visited the Marshall website, I was able to easily obtain an E-price via email and negotiate the price also via email. (Which was very important to me due to my busy schedule.) From the other dealers, I was unable to receive prices via email so easily and most wanted to call to negotiate despite the fact that I indicated that e-mail was my preference. Once I arrived at the dealership on a Monday morning, the sales team actually called in the sales person I had been conversing with despite the fact that he was not scheduled to be there for a couple more hours and, while we were waiting, took me through a test drive. Once I was satisfied with the vehicle as well as the price, they made sure to find me the lowest finance rate through their available financing companies and made the entire process quick and painless. We left the dealership in a very timely manner and a beautiful new vehicle. More
