TLDR - Mark Miller sold me a defective brand new truck, failed to fix the issues properly, and then told me I was sorry out of luck. Wish I could give 0 stars. Bought a brand new 2025 tundra, and after failed to fix the issues properly, and then told me I was sorry out of luck. Wish I could give 0 stars. Bought a brand new 2025 tundra, and after 1500 miles the front seats started making a clunking noise, and the steering started pulling to the right. Brought it in to the service department, and was told they needed to get new clips for the inside of the seat. I was also originally told that I would have to pay for an alignment to fix the steering, but then later was told sometimes they come from the factory misaligned, and they would cover the alignment under warranty. The fact they originally wanted to charge me to fix the steering should have been my first warning I was in for trouble. Fast forward two weeks, and never heard anything back on the clips, so I called in. Apparently the clips had arrived a while back, but no one called me. Then, when I go to get the clips installed, I was told there was still a lot of play, and they needed to call Toyota to ask what to do next. Well the end of the day approached, and no one had called me back, so I was going to be stranded without a car. When I called, I found out my service advisor went home sick and no one knew to call me back! Seriously? Had I not been persistent and called back, I would have been stranded without a car. Anyway, after getting me a loaner car, and two more days pass, I was called and told they added some additional insulation to the seat and it was "much better", which doesn't really inspire confidence that the issue was fully resolved, especially since they admitted that the new seats clips still had "a lot of play". So I drive it home, and the steering wheel was now crooked after they aligned the wheels! Then, the next day, the seat sound comes back! I recorded the sound, sent the video to the service department, and had to wait several more days before I could bring it back in again (service director was out of town). I bring it back in and I'm told that in spite of my video, they couldn't duplicate the sound to the same noise level as the first time I brought it in and therefore its "fixed". I was also told they are allowed a certain number of degrees of the steering wheel being crooked, and mine was right at the limit. I was also told my only recourse was to keep bringing in my truck "until the sound is loud enough for them to duplicate". I even sat with the service manager and showed him the sound (albeit fainter than when it was making it in my earlier video), and was still told it was not enough for him to do anything. To top it all off, I find a blue scuff mark on the front fender, and when I asked if their service guys hit anything, was told it was probably just from plants. I don't know what kind of plants leave paint scuffs, but regardless where in the heck were you driving my car while you had it? Did the service tech take it offroad? Do yourself a favor and avoid this place at all costs. Toyotas are obviously no longer made to last, Mark Miller Toyota knows this, and fails to stand by their products. Unfortunately now I get to explore my options under lemon laws. More
We drive almost 4 ( FOUR ! !!! ) hours just to be serviced by this dealer per recommendation and reviews. We chose the "Express Service" which is "first come, first served" !!! ) hours just to be serviced by this dealer per recommendation and reviews. We chose the "Express Service" which is "first come, first served"... There were two separate lines that had "green entrance arrows". It was so disorganized & cars let in haphazardly that i just knew in advance we might lose one spot in line... After not one but two later arrivals were allowed in ahead of my vehicle I said something.... Clearly for spite, a mechanic who overheard my plight, drove ANOTHER late arrival car in ahead of us. I would NOT recommend Mark Miller in Salt Lake City to ANYONE !!! More
The staff is aggressive and argumentative. Service department doesn’t report to Carfax and when I asked why that is the manager said “sometimes they don’t subscribe”. So lazy. The Service Department at Mark Miller Toyota was incredible! It is hard to find a service department that is not trying to gouge us for money, but this is certainly a trustworthy place that takes care of the customer first! I was driving from Jamestown, North Dakota to Las Vegas, Nevada and had what I thought were several critical issues with the car. I was so worried that I would be on the side of the road in nowhere land with a broken car. When I drove into Salt Lake City, the service department said, "Just stop on by, we will see what your needs are." They checked out all of my concerns and eased my mind. They spent about forty five minutes near closing time with me helping me understand each of the concerns and what they might be. Afterward, he topped off the oil and washed the windshield which was full of bugs. Since they didn't do any "service," as my concerns were things that were not critical, this entire visit was no charge. He wouldn't even accept a tip for his time! What an incredible service department that I would always be able to trust! More
Purchased a gold certified used 2021 Toyota Tundra here two months ago and last week the windshield of the truck started leaking into the cab! Even though they themselves replaced the windshield service a two months ago and last week the windshield of the truck started leaking into the cab! Even though they themselves replaced the windshield service and sales refused to correct the issue. STAY AWAY from this dealership. Toyota used to take care of their customers, but not anymore. When I tried making Kyle, the sales manager, understand that when you purchase a car you expect the windshield to not leak he responded, "Now we're talking about things that don't matter." No Kyle, they simply don't matter to you. He did not hear me out and did not care. They took advantage of an out-of-state purchaser and I got the shaft. Avoid and purchase elsewhere. More
Attempted to purchase a vehicle here. Sales person Jamie started out as great. Started working a deal at 9am. Sales sheet was sent at 11:23am and a price was presented. I questioned the v Sales person Jamie started out as great. Started working a deal at 9am. Sales sheet was sent at 11:23am and a price was presented. I questioned the vehicles listing. At 3:54pm I was informed the vehicle was misrepresented as a “Premium” when it was a “Base” model. I had to talk to my wife and during this time, at 5:59 the vehicle was reserved for us. At 6:10, Jamie informed me the vehicle was now being purchased by another customer. At 6:14, I talked to “Robin” an incompetent sales manager told me the vehicle was purchased by another customer. Buyers beware. If you agree on a price, they will sell the car out from under you if you don’t make a decision on a vehicle in a split second. More
I live 2 and 1/2 hours away from the dealership. I contacted them 3 different ways before I ever heard anything back. When I finally went past email, chat, and text, I finally called and talked to I contacted them 3 different ways before I ever heard anything back. When I finally went past email, chat, and text, I finally called and talked to someone. Told the salesman I was driving 2 and 1/2 hours to look at a Jeep Grand Cherokee, when I got there, the salesman TOOK A PHONE CALL AND LEFT ME SITTING THERE STARING AT HIM until I got so irritated I asked if one of the other 15 people standing around b.s.ing could help me. They all just stared at me as if they had never seen a customer and did not know how they could possibly handle one. I left the dealership without even seeing the car and thinking I'll buy my car anywhere besides Mark Miller Toyota. More
Phoned dealer at 1:20pm to verify a specific vehicle’s availability, salesman says it’s available. Said great, that’s the suv I want. Salesman replies, excellent- I’ll pull the vehicle and have it up f availability, salesman says it’s available. Said great, that’s the suv I want. Salesman replies, excellent- I’ll pull the vehicle and have it up front and ready for you at 2:45pm. As I’m driving up to the dealership I get a call from the salesman who informs me they just sold the vehicle to someone else that saw it parked up front and beat me to it. Huh? If the dealer was not planning on holding the suv for a whole 75min as agreed then why not simply ask for a deposit which I would have gladly given over the phone to secure the deal? Or maybe call and say I have another buyer interested, need a deposit or I can’t hold it till 2:45pm. I have no words…Mark Miller is a ZERO INTEGRITY dealership. Unfortunately for the sales manager Mr. Denton I’m angry enough to call Toyota corporate on Monday and lodge a complaint. Last I checked, being ethical and having integrity in all business dealings is a big deal for Toyota as it should also be for Mr. Miller whom I’m sure didn’t get this far in life by allowing his sales managers to cheat customers. We cannot speak highly enough of Jason Jones at Mark Miller Toyota. My husband and I met with Jason three years ago when we were in need of a new vehicle, and he was incredibly helpful. Due to difficult Miller Toyota. My husband and I met with Jason three years ago when we were in need of a new vehicle, and he was incredibly helpful. Due to difficulties our family had struggled with, our credit was somewhat messy, but Jason met with us for several hours and worked hard to figure out a situation that would work for us and provide us with a fantastic car that we could afford. Shortly after, we had our 19-year-old daughter meet with Jason to purchase a used car as her first vehicle, and he was equally as knowledgeable and helpful with getting her set up. We both love the vehicles we purchased from Jason. Recently, we connected a friend of ours with Jason who also had a complex financial situation, and within a few hours, Jason had hooked him up with a great used car. Our friend is thrilled with his new vehicle and with Jason’s help. We plan to refer all our friends and family who may need a new vehicle to Jason, as well as to use him for any other vehicles our family may need in the future. More
