My experience at Mark Miller Toyota was extremely disappointing and did not reflect the values they advertise the moment you walk through the front doors. Right in the showroom they have signs tha disappointing and did not reflect the values they advertise the moment you walk through the front doors. Right in the showroom they have signs that say: "No Hidden Fees!" "Easy Price – Smart | Competitive | Fast" "Accurate | Transparent | Honest" "No payment games" "The only thing lower than the price is the pressure." Unfortunately, my experience was the exact opposite. I visited to purchase a 2025 Toyota Tacoma TRD Off-Road. The truck was advertised online for $42,900, yet once I sat down they showed me a higher price and then presented a "$350 discount" as if they were giving me a deal. The reality is the online listing already reflected that price but with the dealer fees included, so calling it a discount felt misleading. The biggest issue was my trade-in. Mark Miller offered me only $9,500 for my 2016 Honda Accord with 70k miles, while other dealerships offered me $13,750-$15,000 for the exact same vehicle just days apart. That's a $5,000 difference. It honestly felt like they intentionally undervalued my trade to make up the difference elsewhere in the deal and tried to be dishonest about why it was valued at that. When I questioned it, instead of having an honest conversation, the sales manager Robin became defensive and pushed the blame onto others rather than addressing my concerns professionally. I left feeling dismissed and disrespected as a customer. Transparency and honesty are things dealerships earn through their actions, not by putting them on signs in the lobby. Based on my experience, the advertising inside the dealership did not match how I was treated during the negotiation process. I ended up going elsewhere and immediately received a much fairer trade-in value without the pricing games. If you're shopping for a vehicle, I strongly recommend: Get multiple trade-in appraisals before accepting an offer. Compare the dealership's online price to the numbers they present in person. Read every line of the purchase worksheet carefully. I wanted to buy from Mark Miller Toyota, but after this experience I simply couldn't trust that I was being treated fairly and I hope the Manager Robin doesn't treat other customers this dishonestly but I feel as if this wasn't his first rodeo with how he came off. More
