My husband and I have purchased from another prominent Salt Lake City Toyota Dealer in the past (Larry Miller), and there were always games about the amount for the trade-in and then the price on the new- Salt Lake City Toyota Dealer in the past (Larry Miller), and there were always games about the amount for the trade-in and then the price on the new-to-us vehicle: "This is our offer. Do you have a counter offer? I'll have to take it upstairs. They're willing to move this far. Counter offer? I'll take it upstairs…." Unless we wanted to pay a completely unreasonable price for the vehicle, the whole process took the entire day! Literally! What a breath of fresh air Mark Miller Toyota was!! We located the vehicle we wanted online during our research, and it happened to be in stock at Mark Miller Toyota. Ken Shaw was very professional, offered us a good amount for our trade-in and, at the same time, offered us a great price on the new vehicle. We were stunned! We had done a lot of research and were prepared to demand a certain amount for the trade-in and not pay a penny more than what we had researched for the new-to-us vehicle. Ken's numbers came in almost exactly where we had predetermined - without the incessant back-and-forth and without taking all day! I think it maybe took an hour and a half to complete the entire transaction. We are customers for life!! I live in Draper and after enduring what I felt was poor customer service from two closer Toyota dealerships, it was a breath of fresh air to work with Spencer. Not only was he prompt in answering my e-mai customer service from two closer Toyota dealerships, it was a breath of fresh air to work with Spencer. Not only was he prompt in answering my e-mail and text questions, he quickly gave me what I felt like was a good value on a terrific vehicle (Tacoma). I would highly recommend Spencer Williams at Mark Miller Toyota to anyone considering purchasing a new vehicle. I'd plan on coming back sooner, but I know Toyotas last forever! More
Jesse was AWESOME!!! I live a few hours away from any car dealership so I needed to do most of the leg work and get most of the information before I left town to car shop. I called 4 different dealerships and Jesse was the ONLY one to call me back. I told him my situation, what I was looking for and what I could afford and he found exactly what I was looking for! He called and sent emails, he was very helpful and friendly. I liked him and trusted him almost right away. I felt like he dealt with me honestly I am very happy with the car I brought home and my experience at Mark Miller Toyota. I took a used SUV for a test drive, I liked it and asked the sales person to make a deal. Anthony wrote on a piece of paper a price for about $1000 over book and said that the mechanics would go through it the sales person to make a deal. I signed it and wrote "Maybe" . I arranged my financing with a local bank, later the sales person called back and said it would be an extra 1200.00 to fix the clutch and told me I should give him 500.00 down with a credit card over the phone as someone else was coming down to look at it.. He said he would honor the original price but It would not include the new clutch.. I called around and found the 1200.00 repair charge to be about the going rate.. ??At this point I asked the sales person to send me a email of the deal I was trying to make and to include the clutch repair.. He texted me a picture of half of the invoice but it was a copy of one without the repair.. ??I called the General Manger to complain about the high price and the run around.?He told me the 4x4 SUV was a in demand item and they are in business to make a profit and he apologized for the run around and would make it right.. I told him send me a decent contract in writing by email and see what he could to about the price. ??The next day the salesman did so.. I ended up paying over 2000.00 above Kelly Blue Book Value and never received an apology from the sales person.. ??If you looking to get the run around, some poor business practices AND pay way over book this is the place for you.. Update, 5 days have passed and Mark Miller Toyota called to say They are still waiting for a part to repair the used Toyota I purchased. More
Andy Ross and Spencer Williams both seem to represent the attitude of this dealership. When we were shopping for a new Camry, we first worked with Andy and later with Spencer. Both listened to what we had to say, explained what they thought would be the best option for us and worked hard to get the best price for us. We were especially happy that they gave us their best price without haggling or having to consult a "floor manager" for a better deal. There was no pressure to buy a car today--none of that "What would it take to get you into a car right now" talk. They didn't try to come back with a better price, they just explained what the car would cost, what optional equipment would add to the price and let us go home and think about our decision. There was no pressure filled followup call the next day, they just let us decide. I had originally spoken with Andy when I was there to have my old Camry serviced during the winter. I told him that we would probably not be ready to purchase until later in the summer. He did not persistently call and continue to pester us, but rather waited until we were ready to come in. We came back in early August and got his best deal on a new 2013 Camry and then told him that we would not be making a decision until later in the month. When we were ready, unfortunately Andy was on medical leave when I called him back. He recommended that I speak to Spencer which I did. I went alone to the dealership and Spencer did not treat me like I needed to have "permission" from my husband to buy a car. Two days later we bought a new 2014. Spencer was especially helpful in making sure that our needs were met and went out of his way to be helpful. Andy was back on the job the day we picked up our car and he remembered talking with us and offered his help again in the future. Mark Miller will be our Toyota dealership for all future new car purchases and service work. More

Mark Miller Toyota is the best dealership that I've ever worked with. I purchased a new 2012 Camry in January of 2012 from Mark Peck and he couldn't have been more professional and kind. Because of this experience, I go to Mark Miller Toyota for services on my car, which is a 40 mile one way drive for me. Last month, I went up there to have my brakes checked because something didn't seem right with them. Brian Payne and Angela Martin helped me with the service and they were so nice and explained everything to me in great detail. They replaced the brake pads and machined the rotors free of charge and now everything functions fine. I will continue to go to Mark Miller for all of my sales and service needs and would recommend them to anyone, no matter how far the drive because it's worth it. More
