We contacted Ken on a new 2020 Toyota Avalon which is secured on a deposit with our intent to purchase. Ken listened to us and does his very best to meet our needs. He’s very knowledgeable and informative without being pushy. Ken makes you feel comfortable and we have grown to trust him. Ken is very upfront on the vehicle price. The safety features on the 2015 Toyota Avalon saved my wife from more serious injury in a recent auto accident. I don't recommend having to purchase a new vehicle this way, but it's nice to have Ken there to help with a replacement vehicle. It was because of the good experience with Ken Shaw at Mark Miller Toyota 5 years ago that we now return for another vehicle purchase. Came in for some routine maintenance and waited 10 minutes before being approached by anyone despite having an appointment, but it was busy, so I can understand that. Was given no initial time estimate or information regarding complementary services inside or where to wait or to pay when the time came. No big deal. I can figure out the drinks/snacks, uber shuttle, and confusing pay counter situation on my own. I expected a long wait since I was at least third in the line for customers with appointments. I received a text asking if I wanted to receive text updates as my service progressed. I said that I did and received another automated text telling me I would receive updates this way. That was the last text I received. Not a problem, I chose to wait on the property since it was unclear how long the uber driver would be before returning. After some time I receive a voicemail, but no missed call, as the cell service was not great (not Toyota's fault). I was informed that several items required attention and was given a number to call back. I called back immediately and reached a different person than the one who had called me. Again, not an issue since he was able to pull up my information and assured me that the additional work would only take a few moments (which echoed what the voicemail had told me) and that my vehicle would be ready shortly. It was not. Over an hour later, I was tired of waiting and being ignored by staff and found my own way to the little office in the middle of the service/repair area where you apparently pay for maintenance because the large counter labeled "Cashier" in the main waiting area is not affiliated with the car servicing portion of the dealership? I spoke with the staff and was questioned regarding why I hadn't called back after receiving the voicemail. The man behind the counter then pulled up my paperwork and was about to check me out when he mumbled something about assuming I didn't want any of the services he had mentioned in the voicemail. I informed him that I had indeed called back and requested that multiple items be taken care of. This claim was met with skepticism until I mentioned the name of the associate I had spoken to who then came forward and explained what was supposed to have been done for my vehicle. I relaxed a little, expecting that the original associate simply hadn't had the information passed on to him and that he would simply need to reprint the updated paperwork and I could pay and be on my way. This was not the case. Instead of being ready over an hour after I was assured it would be maybe five more minutes for the simple items to be taken care of, none of these additional items had been put into the computer and nothing additional had been done for my vehicle. A curt and perfunctory apology was offered and the service was actually begun. Once this was completed, I was called up to pay and did so. No further apology or offer to make up for the mistake and wasted time was offered. Once again, not a huge problem on its own. I paid and climbed into my car, finding that the car wash did little to clean my windshield, and the vacuuming of the driver and passenger floor had clearly not been done, but what did I expect from a complementary car wash? I hurry toward work so as not to be late after waiting over two hours for some routine maintenance that I had an appointment to get taken care of. And I find that my passenger side mirror has been damaged and the glass is detached from the casing. I expect this would be a simple fix and I don't believe I was not informed deliberately. Instead I imagine it was overlooked by the staff who had already proven to be substantially less than thorough. I didn't have the time at this point to return to have this repaired as I needed to get to work, but fortunately work has been slow, so I was able to compose this review. I doubt that I shall be returning to Mark Miller Toyota in the future even to repair the damage they did to my car. Which I suppose is no huge problem since the run-of-the-mill maintenance and repair shops are all over and don't tend to drop the ball like this, much less damage my car in the process. More

Added a lift and tires to new 2020 Tacoma. Truck looked great but after having it home realized one tire was a larger size than the rest. Set up time to have it replaced to match the other 3. Set up a time and followed up to make sure tire would be at the dealership when I arrived. Was told everything was set up. Arrived at dealership at 7:15, around 8:00 I was told the replacement tire had not arrived and would not be in until 10:00. I was offered a car for the day but my work was 1.5 hrs from the dealership and that was the reason for the 7:00 appointment and the extra 2 calls to make sure a tire would be there when I arrived. I waited for the truck to be done. It was completed around 11:00. So it took 4 hours to replace a tire that they put on wrong from the start. Cost me 6 hours of vacation to fix a problem that should never have happened. Sales experience was great but service has been 50/50 so far. More

They contacted me with an offer after I filled out the financial application online. The day I went to look at the car what I saw was what I got. No funny added fees, no mandatory add-ons. I opted for some extras but that was 100% my choice, no pressure from them. I was in and out in a couple of hours. Definitely satisfied with them for my first time buying a new car! Will recommend to my family when they are considering buying any new car, not just a Toyota. More
