What should have been a joyful purchase was a shocking experience of scam, poor customer service, and lengthy wait times. I ordered a hybrid Kia SUV in May 2023 with a $1000 down. I committed to this purc experience of scam, poor customer service, and lengthy wait times. I ordered a hybrid Kia SUV in May 2023 with a $1000 down. I committed to this purchase and waited for 8 months. Paying cash. Upon finalizing the purchase today (Dec 26) I did not want two of three add-ons. Nate M and Derrick G refused to sell the vehicle unless I purchased the LoJack add-on. When I confirmed that these were "optional", Nate M said "buying the vehicle is optional". How disgusting. Clearly this place is interested in sales and not a positive customer experience. Of course these add-ons are optional yet these two employees refused to sell the vehicle unless I bought two of them (they removed the key add-on). The window tint add-on is way overpriced which was acknowledged by Derrick when I stated how I was paying 2.5x the usual price of tinting already and wanted to remove the Lojack add-on. And the entire ordeal was 6 hours in total for a vehicle that did not need financing or anything else. And when I was out rushing to the bank to get the cashier's check before closure, Nate M had the audacity to call me during my trek asking when I'll be back (since apparently he has some plans this evening). Ultimately, I'm the sucker. I bought the vehicle and folded to their coersion tactics, but I just couldn't wait any longer having already waited 8 months. I'm disappointed with this place and will never buy a vehicle from them again and will gladly share my experience with others. I thought Mark Kia was more honest than other dealerships, but, sadly, in my experience they lived up to the "sleazy car salesman" trope. More
